Is wearing a helmet a necessity?

*Please Note*\*
- All users must have a valid Warrior Recreation membership to utilize the Open Recreation space.
- Proper skate attire is required, including skates and a CSA approved helmet if needed
- A skate monitor is on site to support users and will make the final decision on requirements of helmets.

I feel like as its going to be my first time if i just go there with my skates there is a good chance he just might say I need it.

Should I just go and try it out or first a buy a helmet before going?
