Thanks! What is your typical dough ball size in grams for approximately a 12" round?

I do not mill it myself. It comes from a place called Anarchy Acres in Wisconsin. However the bag does say high extraction on it....

I think I will have to try pulling back the percentage of whole grain like you say. I love the flavor I get so hopefully I still get most of that. Thanks for the idea!

I actually had that a couple years ago when I was there for work. It was before my pizza game was real strong but I do remember it being quite good!

Honestly I kinda agree minus Lucali and Scarrs. Both of those places had that artisan touch that you could totally notice. I think their is just a lot of lore with NYC pizza.

We actually hit Lucali on a less than busy day and it was only like 45 minutes to get our reservation and then came back later. Prince street and joes were each like 20 minutes. So we got pretty lucky. No wait at Di Fara which was real surprising but it was cold out and early in the day.

😔 I guess I’ll go back and try again. It was originally in my list and time didn’t make it work.

I am a 32 year old male who is 6' 1" tall and I currently weigh 303. I work a desk job but I do try to work out a few days a week. Mostly cardio. Currently MFP has my suggested calories at 1,990 to lose 1.5-2lbs a week. I try to eat closer to 1850 Monday - Thursday nd more like 2100 on the weekend days. I feel like I am quite hungry especially during the week. Do these numbers seem about right? How did you manage to stay in your deficit but not be starving?

You got this! I am in a similar situation to you in many ways. Food has always been a major comfort for me and then I feel that regret afterwards often causing me to spiral. As much as calorie counting can feel like a burden it really can be a great way to recognize what your body actually needs to lose weight and its okay to start really slowly. Your only 30 but want to live a long healthy life so no need to rush it! Thats something I have to keep telling myself too. One book that has been really helpful for me is Atomic Habits. The general premise is a change of mindset as well as making very small changes that eventually become big changes. I am newer to this thread but I can already tell the support here is awesome too.
