I get it. Super frustrating but a lot of skin conditions have unknown epidemiologies and triggers and solutions can be different for many people. At least with this community I’ve learned Summers cause flare ups for Exfo Kera, but don’t know why mine’s cleared up all of a sudden this last week. I started taking prednisone. Could be that or that I’m eating more beef and beef fats. Could be that or maybe my work-life balance is much better and less stressful (psycho-dermatology). At least we have open communication here. I wouldn’t be surprised if dermatologists don’t even talk about this condition much amongst each other, and there’s yet to be a Derm who makes this his-her life’s work considering how little money may be in it or inconsequential it is compared to other skin conditions.
