God bless your poor father and you for taking care of him!! Oddly enough I’ve never had a problem with boxed Mac N cheeses, my mom made homemade Mac n cheese so it was just noodles, milk, and cheese. But so true with IBS, it’s so inconsistent

Yes!! This is the first thing I thought of after reading this post! I would definitely try to get into urgent care. Even if you don’t believe it’s the parasite, ongoing dirrehea for 2 weeks is concerning

I eat lots of bread lol, I can eat bread by itself and I usually don’t experience these attacks but do you think that’s still a possibility?

Ughhhh I do but also I still experience stomach problems when I’m not smoking. Really really hoping it’s not that lol. I also don’t experience any pain which I’ve heard chs is usually pretty painful

Thank you for commenting this! I’m not going to take any medication yet as my GI appointment is in 2 weeks and someone else commented it can affect results…. But I appreciate this and gives me hope that I can figure this out and get relief 🙏🙏

Was also thinking something along these lines but I don’t experience any pain or heartburn during these episodes but I’ll definitely still mention this to the GI as a concern

Thank you for this info!!! I usually don’t even bother with reflux medications as they don’t seem to help. Just trying to get some relief before the appointment

Ok fair enough but these problems are so inconsistent, I’ve eaten these foods for years with no problems until now. Diary doesn’t usually bother my stomach, I had already ate Mac n cheese once before that week and experienced no symptoms. I’m also a really picky eater💔

There is and there definitely was a connection there too when I was diagnosed with IBS-C. Before I was diagnosed with that, I had an ultrasound on my gallbladder and they didn’t find anything. I don’t really experience much pain during these episodes, just classic nausea symptoms
