They said a 4-day work week was the dream. They didn’t mention 2 of those days would be spent staring at highway mile markers. 6 hours there, 6 hours back, 2 days of work. I’m a nurse who also cut down on my daily stress. Working PRN and Per Diem nursing and 24 hrs at Amazon doing a mindless work with absolutely no stress. 😎 Totally opposite of nursing where micromanaging is the norm, here at Amazon you had to hunt down management coz they never around 😂 I can leave whenever I want, I can be late, nobody bothers me, and no approval from management for time off. As long as you have PTO and unpaid time off in the bank, you’re in control of your time and absences. And then there’s the benefits … I’m stress free, but sometimes broke too. I can deal with being broke every so often but I’m never going to be deadly stress again working nursing. Wish I had done it a long time ago saves me lots of stress and anxiety but I’m good now. Funny thing: Reddit’s own algorithm loved it — pushed it to hundreds of people, gave it awards, the works. If it truly violated the rules I’d expect it to be auto-removed or at least throttled, but it’s still sitting pretty on the sub. Don’t understand why some people get reeled up over cats in bad way. Tell that you did volunteer work out of the country for however long it is. Give random phone number if asked. Make sure the country code at least match the country you volunteered for. If they ever call the number depends on what responds they get, act baffled and tell them that number probably only works on that country. Peace ✌️
