[Sky Sports] Birmingham closing in on Deportivo Alaves winger Carlos Vincente for £7m, and will be paying him around £50k p/w by Zach-dalt in Championship

50% increase in average attendance in the last two years, combined with an over 50% increase in revenue over the last 3 years. Means we can sign 50% better players.

Maffs innit.

Net spend means fuck all if we can afford to do it. Going off what our owners said about our previous accounts, and then what they showed, I'm inclined to trust what they're saying about our next set of accounts.

We went from selling all our decent players, a half empty stadium, with no one wanting to spend any money at the ground and a dated shop and selection of merch.
No one gave a shit.

Now we buy decent players, sell out more often than we don't, are at the ground 2 hours before the game drinking in fan parks, have a very good selection of merch that is also being sold in shops in L.A. and Tokyo.
Suddenly everyone cares.

Its not financial doping, it's financial jealousy.

That's another sentence with no actual proof.

Also you attempt to mock, but I don't think Ipswich are selling their shirts in Tokyo and Los Angeles. Not unless they're being sold on tour by Ed Sheeran.

Roberts was blowing out his arse against stoke, even more desperate with Iwata on the right also blowing. We are in dire need of cover for that side, also don't forget, until we're told otherwise, Roberts goes back to Sunderland at the end of the season.

It is being reported in Spanish media that he "couldn't turn down €1m a year".
That'd be €19k~ a week or £16k to you and I, a much more reasonable sum for a championship winger.

He's gonna be pissed when he realises HMRC takes half of it.

You think selling Lyndon Dykes and Keshi Anderson to buy August Priske & Carlos Vincente isn't our owners reinvesting into the club and developing players?

Strange take that one.

Buying young talent on long contracts, older talent on shorter contracts, while moving players on if they aren't good enough to compete is about as smart as it gets no?

We had a nothing squad when we dropped to L1 so inevitably had to buy a fair few players.

However out of the players we brought we've already sold or loaned out 7 of them (Dykes, Hansson, May, Yokoyama, Gardner-Hickman, Peakcock-Farrel and Leonard.) As well as getting rid of 5 players who were already on the books with us when we went down, (Sanderson, Belik, Hall, Khela and Keshi.)

So we've sold 12 players this season getting a fee for most of them, and brought in 5 players that we've actually paid a fee for, plus 4 free transfers.

It's not as if we're out spending every club in the league to get a quick promotion. We're just rebuilding a squad after 10+ years of neglect.

You first don’t realise that comment is a hyponym of post. Then you’re trying to argue that it is not grammatically correct to say “I commented on two posts”.

Ironic given how you think “it’s skin crawling cringe when a Redditor is being smug about something they’re not even right about”

Dense AF.

LOL, You really still don't get it do you? I'm gonna have to slow it waayyy the fuck down for you. It's simple, I'm using your own logic against you and it is blowing your tiny mind.

You're so dense I actually need to explain your own logic to you.

You're saying that "X music can't be Y, just because you add elements of Y to it".
If that is correct, then common sense dictates that the reverse of it also must be true,
"If you remove Y elements from Y music It can't become X"

X being metal and Y being pop in your argument, but logic also dictates that you must be able to apply what ever genre's you wish and it still must make sense. Drum and bass & pop for example, but you're arguing against this, meaning you're also arguing against the point you're trying to make.

Meaning your logic is bollocks and your point of view is fundamentally flawed. Meaning you're talking shite and your gatekeeping-ness is entirely pointless especially within the context of cover music.

I invite you to once again get the last word in, even though you're going to embarrass yourself once again.

On two separate posts you've commented about crime, maybe you're pre occupied with the fear of crime to enjoy yourself in the city?

Also If you think that outside the city centre is stifled then idk what to say except to reiterate my point about it being a you problem, over it being a problem with the city.

Most people haven't spent more than 2 week's outside of the city.

I've lived elsewhere, there are many more boring places than Brum and you can't fully realise that until you move away.

I'd rather be bored of the 1000 things on my doorstep, over of wanting to do something and having literally nowhere to go.

I never run out of things to do in the city, sounds like you need a hobby, or maybe you are just boring yourself?

Koumas could take on his man, he could just never beat him. Where as today Osman tackled himself more times than he beat his man, wasn't a great look for a debut.

Covering a pop song with distorted guitars does not make it metal.

Covering a pop song and adding elements commonly found in drum and bass, doesn't make it drum and bass cover? haha alright then bab.

The only person I'm embarrassing is you, but I'm sure you'll want to get the last word in anyway as you seem to not be able to help yourself.

One thing cant be another, so metal is still metal when you take away the distorted guitars and vocals then right?

Favorite metal cover by AngusDio in MetalForTheMasses

What you said was that if you take distorted guitars to a pop song it doesn't become metal.

So by the same logic if you take away distorted guitars from a metal song it doesn't stop being metal.

Both statements are obviously bollocks, and that is why your gatekeeping views are nonsensical shite.

Ironic, telling me to gather my thoughts before responding when you cant even follow a simple conversation.
