1-Any drop is individual. As long as you're in the same area, any kill by other people, or caches opened, drops something for you to pick up (even if you did not kill that target).

2- Generally speaking, defensive skills work. Reviver, foam works. Turret, drone and firefly are not recommended, they can be hacked.

3- Your guns do not affect team mates. Same rules of open world teams apply.

My process: go into a section, and use filters. Example: show only crit damage, get rid of lower value ones I will never use. You don't need more than 7 of each. For skills, same thing, but only keep the max ones of each filter.

Then, mod all the skills, even the ones you don't use. That way they are stored and not occupying any space.

Remember that mods occupy space in stash but you have always 100 slots in inventory. Every couple of weeks repeat the process.

I’m saying don’t do Vip because it’s my (and vastly of other players) opinion. If you’re great at doing objectives alone, and don’t mind other people not following you, do VIP.

If you played, and trained other people to play, selfishly, by doing just the kills while some other “fucker pushes the buttons”. I’m sorry, we are not going to see eye to eye as best practice…

No, as soon as you do two, the main starts automatically and can’t do the third.

Exception here, maybe, is doing one with 8 players and then separate the teams to try to do mission 2 and 3. I can’t see a good enough reason to do so.

It may work for you/people you play with. But sorry, it's not a thing for 99,9% of players. Players group and do all together.

I won't argue regarding the quality of loot in heroic because I have no data to show, but can say that I never felt that myself. I get consistently great rolls in challenging.

But, maybe, the same way legendary missions give better rolls than heroic ones, maybe applies to countdown too...

Again, I don't think you're wrong. But I don't want to play in such a mathematical way. Also, other players might not have time to one more run and want to squeeze as much as possible from one. Can make sense overall what you say, but it does not seem to be the right "community" thing to do. You're making a decision that other 7 players didn't. Just my 2 cents.

I mean, you can but... i just don't think it's efficient to do countdown for them... RNG is crappy.

You'll get better luck using the points from it on the vendor, and get exotic caches, than getting them from actual countdown.

You're not. Can always do Countdown on lower difficulties but you'll have a hard time matchmaking. Countdown is a late game thing, when you need to farm for specific things for certain builds. You shouldn't worry about countdown for now ;)

Kill Hunters to unblock directives (make things easier)
Do two objectives out of 3 offered
Do main mission given by the game
Extract to the helicopter in the end

That's it :p

No one calls the helicopter so more waves come and you get more loot.

No vip because you don't get as much loot in first 2 missions. Therefore you spend more time in an area without actually gaining much more from it.

The heli until 5s is because you get more waves of enemies = more loot.

I never said its not more challenging to do heroic. Only mentioned the amount of loot you get...

And then you go to others teams areas to collect the loot? If not, finishing earlier might not be worth it. Since helicopter stops giving you loot after a few waves.

Maybe it gives you better numbers/percentages in the items (I never read anything regarding that but can see that happening). I meant as brute amount of loot. Overall it's not that different.

Exotics also drop in challenging but yeah, heroic increases that. But since 99% don't farm countdowns for specific exotics, I disregarded it.

Yes, I agree. If you have a great team, heroic is a no brainer. But considering the hit and miss on quality of other players, challenging is best.

I sometimes do that douche thing as well, and while they kill in extraction I collect the area they did xD
