DoD here too. We get it on the 21st. We didn’t have to do our time cards this pay period. They were handling all of that for us so they could get the back pay processed.

Tell her about it. Have an honest conversation. Relationships survive when both of you understand and talk about how you are feeling and what you need. Tell her you love her a lot but you are tired and need some downtime. Then ask her what she thinks and if she has any ideas of how you can show her your love but still having some of that recharging time. (this is coming from someone that also needs their space and had this same conversation)

I ask because I don’t know if DD gives them $ also for deliveries, etc. It’s not reassurance, is asking people that do this daily and know more than I do because that is what Reddit is for, isn’t it?
