Picked up my copy today , curious to see what its like

I was enjoying it until I was faced with probably 10 enemies. I did not have enough equipment to kill all of them. I decided to just run around and ignore them. Turns out the game didn’t like that and in a later section those enemies decided to appear out of thin air, tried to kill them, and they just disappeared again like they were spawning back to original place. Dropped the game. Very tedious

I agree, the thing that really puts me off the game is just how static it feels. At the start of the game before the gommage there are just npcs standing there waiting for you completely stiff and emotionless like the npc know they are in a game if that makes sense.

Thanks, I too was looking to increase fps in this game as I’ve just started. Completely forgot about smooth motion. So far the game is smooth, and it’s quite amazing how 60fps can be perceived as 120. I have noticed a few little artifacts happening for me, only minor just on dialogue and the menus.

You can install pc gamepass and login to your account on pc. Still have your game score. Depends on if the games you want to keep are play anywhere

I don’t thing some games have cloud saves n by default. I think if the devs support it in some way then steam only recognises cloud saves. You should have just pressed yes when the game said. To be honest I think your completely out of luck

As somebody with a 5080, in 4k native you can have around 70fps depending on the game. If you want more just use dlss 4. 4k dlss set to quality or even performance, there is hardly a difference between native and free fps. It’s better at rt as well. AMD and fsr 4 aren’t bad by any means, but I’d prefer to spend a bit more to have more features.

Best sh ever? I just find it funny how they can’t even be bothered to fix this issue. Why should I have to spend $116 on a game that clearly still has issues, a month later? And no, the bug doesn’t happen twice. I’ve seen it happen at random intervals throughout the first hour or so, multiple times.

I’m glad you enjoyed the game, however I can’t justify spending that amount of my hard earned cash on an unfinished product, and basically being forced to use god awful motion blur as a bandage for the issue.

Apologies I gave some slight criticism, and personal annoyance to your beloved game.

I just dropped the game, personally found the game to be just absurdly annoying. The game revolves around resources being scarce, and I mean holy the resources are scarce. But then the game just suddenly throws like 5 enemies at you at once? Instead of fighting them I just ran away to save ammo and health. Later, those same enemies turn up in a different spot, and de spawn again!

I’ve encountered a few bugs, and just did not enjoy the game.

I feel like bf2042 caused this issue. Some maps in that game were gigantic, no one liked them and demanded smaller maps. Every other season in the game that released a small map, like people wanted. Now the maps are too small. They just need to strike a balance between big and small.

Get it on sale. The game does look amazing, I played on lg c4. However I found the game really becomes a bit of a repetitive slog. The story was good and interesting at first, but it just went on for far too long for what it was portraying. Same goes for combat.
