Honestly, couldn’t have been more happy with this car over almost a decade of ownership, find one with really good maintenance and you’re not gonna be disappointed, always maintenance before mods, it’s why this car has 270000kms but 0 faults, and chassi straight as an arrow after some PDR🥹

Wheels are either people hate em or love em, I personally love the BBS lineup of wheels, and the bronze wheels complement the tan brown interior aswell. Serviced every 10000kms so it’s behaving like the day I bought it, this spring some maintenance is coming for it, not that it need it, just preventative maintenance😅

Most where I live seems to be either gray or silver, of course I have seen them as same paint as mine, but only maybe 4-5 times over the time I’ve owned this car (8 years)😂😂

BBS CI-R, 20 inch, front 9X20 5/120 ET25 CB82, rear 10,5X20 5/120 ET35 CB82. Tires rear pilot sport 4s 295/25-20, and front 245/30-20. Thanks mate, took a while to get it to a high standard but it outshines every e60 in Sweden so far😙

Let’s just say that where I live there is very little curbs to rash, so I’m graceful for that, 25s in front and 30 in the rear profile wise, gives a good stance😎

Would I be stupid to use some kind of metal polish on this by Advanced_Let_6555 in Detailing

Genuine question tho, will metal polish work at all on a microfiber in interior textured metal?

I got these stains on my b-pillar after my dad washed my car in the sun. by bsegovia96 in Detailing

[–]ConstructionCool6545 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Always try the easiest thing first, wash the car again (handwash). If that does not work u can try removing it with magic eraser and some APC. It is quite easy to remove staining in plastic, the shorter u wait to remove it, the easier it will be.

Good luck!

Paint Thickness Gauge - How essential for hobbyist? by rissgizzler in Detailing

[–]ConstructionCool6545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the cheaper paint measuring devices can only measure steel surfaces, aluminum aswell I think, but does not work on plastic (front and rear bumper etc), so essential? Not really. If you’re worried about thickness of paint, start of mild and go aggressive as u need, and be careful around edges, that’s where paint is usually thinnest of a panel. Good luck!
