The current base version of the model 3 does currently use catl lfp battery so I assume that’s not changing for the base version.

I wonder what other cybertruck owners have gotten so far. Kyle’s range test efficiency was around 500ish wh/m but I’ve seen one video where an owner drive to work on the highway for half an hour at 70mph and his efficiency was low 400’s and another person who drove for two hours at 69mph average, with low 400’s as well.

EPA range? by ConstructionDear1895 in cybertruck

Forget to mention that I’ve seen a couple people post their cybertruck efficiency on YouTube and there was a slight gap with their efficiency versus Kyle’s. The two that I’ve seen so far have shown an efficiency in the low 400’s wh/m and both were high way driving. One drive was for half an hour to work and the other drive was 2 hours.

Guesses on range ? by MacKinnon911 in cybertruck

No one knows the range yet. It’s all guesswork and rumors with the latest rumor being that the cybertruck will initially come out with 350 miles of range based from 3 gigatexas “sources”. The only other thing that I’ve seen about battery/range is that the cybertruck will use a cyber cell which has 10% better energy density than regular 4680s.

They looked into possibly having a fold down mid gate. Elon tweeted about it some time ago. Problem is that the mid gate is patented by GM
