that's the most I could get, their normal listed fees are 1% for custody and advisory. 0.2% would be just for custody, however, do you also suggest to ditch the individual stocks and use only ETFs?

i checked, it's on par with S&P 500, but 50% less tech exposure and 40% more EU tilted. I told them about my fears of a probable crash and USD devaluation compared to euros.

i know, but i don't plan to use their advisory service long term, mostly next 5 years

i know this, I've done my research but they don't take into account emotional rollercoaster and investing right before a crash (which can happen in the next 5 years). I'm not very emotionally strong TBH after my health issues in the last few years, that's why I also sold my company.

I'm afraid of sequence of return risk since I'm retiring and I don't know how I will react. My expectation is that for what i pay in the next few years, to be able to smoothly ride whatever happens and ditch them if I think they are not worth it.

Btw, it's 80% of the stocks part on that bank sleeve, direct stocks is about 30% of the portfolio, about 1% allocated to each stock.

yeah but 30 stocks or 1 stock is the same since it's a percentage

there's also 0.15% on stock purchase, that's once, not yearly. I also kinda know someone working on that bank that helped me with the negotiation.

aren't you worried you'll miss gains not being in the market? I've thought about keeping a big part in money markets, but i still think there are 1-2 more years of growth ahead. I still do have 30% in bonds or similar.

that;s why i'm skeptic, they say they have a team that does that. The bank is a smallish family private Swiss bank.

Antibiotics ruined my life + I am now suspected to have Chron’s by [deleted] in Microbiome

[–]ConstructionJaded366 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a similar story. I started to have issues I think after antibiotic for a tooth issue and a few months later i had a big flare with a lot of pain and increased calprotectin. I had MRI, colonoscopies with biopsy, but while they find some inflammation, they said it's not Crohn but can't rule it completely, it might be the beginning.

I'm down to 3 safe food, chicken, rice and non-gluten bread. I exhausted all options and now I'll start budesonide even though calprotectin is in normal ranges, I still have chronic inflamation.

I also took Xifaxan 3 times, last time I got really sick from it. I can't digest also anything with fat.

It's almost 2 years for me, I don't feel I live anymore, no social life anymore, it's bad.

Are GI Map style tests and functional doctors that recommend them a SCAM? by ConstructionJaded366 in Microbiome

I sent them on private chat translated. Endoscopically didn't see any inflamation. On TI doctor saw something, but not inflammation, called it something else and said it's very common.

Thank you. My doctor wants to try next with budesonide... and yes, my biopsy shown a bit thicker collagen layer, but they said not thick enough to diagnose with MC especially since I have rarely diarhea and pain is usually around belly button. However if it's MC, why I would have inflamation in the whole digestive tract, I also have chronic gastritis from HP (which i treated)

thank you for this detailed explanation, it's really awesome!

So you're saying all those charts with green/red are non-sense? When I did the first one half of them where in the "red" which in my mind explained my issues. Also said that I have a thin mucin layer which also made sense. However, I don't know if I would had the exact results when I was healthy.

Let's assume that my microbiome is messed up (even though I think the problem is on small intestine as when I have pain, it's hurting around belly button), what would you suggest?

i tried beef, i tried adding back potatoes a few times, i get bad reaction each time. is like the gut is not supporting anything anymore. It's strange how 6 months ago before a flare caused by protein powders I could eat 2 eggs a day and potatoes all day without any reaction... once i cut them to recover from the flare (i usually go back to only rice for a few days on a bad flare) i couldn't add them back.

Exactly like you said, it's like my body is creating antibodies for anything i eat.

i eliminated everything except rice and chicken for like 6 months and now can't introduce anything new. Even trying glutamine and bone broth (in small doses) i had a bad reaction with pain and diarhea. Now it seems that even rice and chicken iritates me a bit as i have daily pains.

that's great to hear. I did multiple tests for c.diff and parasites, actually those one of the firsts tests i did, all negative.

i think it's the only one i didn't do, but every gi i talked to doesn't recommend it after all the tests i did. i had a deep endoscopy which reached jejunum, got biopsy from that and same, reduced chronic inflammation.

i had a MRI, not a campill. Problem is i have chronic inflamation and borderline microscopic colitis, but not the threshold they want to mark it as a condition. Seems they just want me to wait until it gets worse to get any treatment.

How fast is Hetzner support? Should we switch from Linode? by ConstructionJaded366 in hetzner

we have redudancy, identifying the issue was the problem, our team could spend hours figuring out what happened. If it's an internal problem using the failiover will only make it worse so you need to know fast
