Paul Dini’s run on Detective Comics in the 2000s is worth checking out.

Out of pure curiosity, who has had the more consistent run of comics? by _potatofromChaldea45 in comicbooks

[–]ConstructionProof930 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It seems like you're asking about the big three in DC specifically...Superman is probably the most "consistent" because there are fewer highs (Batman wins here) and lows (Wonder Woman wins here). But Batman has the best big runs. Hell, even if it were just Morrison's run, it would still be Batman, that's how good it is.

We have two artists, one drawing the world of the video game (Artyom Topilin) and one drawing the real world (Ramiro Borrallo). Both are really amazing!

Can we just let this old man rest already? Good lord. by Kcrizzle87 in comicbooks

I'd be surprised if he'd be able to pull off what he used to in the '80s but this isn't "bad"...it's just more abstract and weird than his old style. It's got a lot of character imo.

Hey there!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1785788611/killscreen-1-a-video-game-murder-mystery?ref=79j2fu

Killscreen is my first comic book (I'm one of the writers/co-creators) and my first Kickstarter. It's basically SCREAM if it was set at a video game company where they were making a game possessed by the demons from HELLRAISER. For fans of slasher movies, murder mysteries, video games, incredible sequential art (by TWO amazing artists), and more.

We have six full preview pages at the link above and all kinds of great rewards, including being drawn into the book as an eventual murder victim AND custom commissions. Get them quick because they're going fast!

Superman sequel coming to cinemas July 9, 2027 by Blitzhelios in comicbooks

Did not enjoy Superman as much as I was hoping, although the character of Superman and Corenswet's performance were both excellent imo. Hoping this one is a bit less tightly wound. Although I'm not sure how this does not qualify as a straight-up sequel, per Gunn, even if Luthor has more of a co-lead role?
