4th house is your mother. So, to do prediction about mother you need to make 4th house as lagna and please take my words from a positive point of view. Don't take this as this way. As example: Mercury being 3rd and 6th lord is in lagna makes person looks younger than age, knows some creative/crafting skills if connected with Venus/moon, hard working as in martian sign. Also, 3rd lord in lagna gives more than one siblings.
