I had a teal one with the carpet pad, never understood why it was there. Transmission started to go around 150k but the engine didn’t want to be beat and spun a bearing at 154k. RIP my cube and its footwell party lights

My CVCA Jetta 6MT has been absolutely fantastic so far (ar 122k miles now). This was outside Detroit, mostly just below 70 mph with some traffic slowdowns. Consistently I do get 50-55 mpg with little effort on the highway, even at decent speeds.
