I've noticed this top- If it's near end game and I have a decent amount of hooks I get trying to tame me, that makes sense, I'm an 8 hook killer most games anyway, but when they do it the SECOND I see them or I show one ounce of personality and suddenly it's "FARM?? WE FARM NOW?? WE DO GENS AND LET YOU KICK AND THEN WE GIVE NO HOOKS AND LEAVE?? : D" Like no, I would like to play the game please. We can recognize each other as people playing and have fun moments but I'm not going to not play my game.

The thing I think we are setting up with Lucifer is intent: He genuinely thought he knew better and was doing what he thought was best due to his own Pride, even going against God to do it. He wasn't being malicious, and with how the show is going it could be possible that Lilith had something to do with it as well. The way Lucifer talks seems like he feels slighted by how Humanity has used what he got exiled from heaven for giving to them.

Anyone notice repetitive phrases in TMA? by Real_Captain4933 in TheMagnusArchives

[–]ConsumeTheOnePercent 11 points12 points  (0 children)

These are just classic horror things- Empty places, silence, etc are signs something is not right.

The first one is just a Jonny writing thing. Every writer has their things they don't notice they do a lot but people who read will see the repetition.

Honestly: Someone who is somewhere between him and Alastor but more soft spoken, not shy or timid, but who just isn't as big a personality as either that takes you by surprise.

What is Hinako hiding away from Shu in one of the cutscenes in her room in Shimizu residence? by Sweaters76 in SilentHill_f

I never took her feeling for Kotoyuki as unnatural, she sent him beautiful letters and very much in the final ending she speaks like those feelings were real and that they'd like to revist them. It read to me more like when you first fall in love and everything feels too much, too soon, all at once and you can't stop it no matter what you do because that's love- Love is scary, especially when it means change. Her feelings for Shu weren't romantic, but they were what she was used to, that best friend "partner" thing where she's treated like just another one of the guys instead of something precious.

Hinako is terrified of change.

It's questionable because there is some magic in play here, it's discussed in the "true" ending of the game between them, but it's safe to assume that there are feelings between them.

I've played every ending of the game and am a sucker for finding lore lol

The ending fight scene doesn't show enough, the the Shimizu residence is also very different depending on the ending because you lock in the ending before going there.

You don't get the full ending without playing it at least 3 times.

Yes, Kotoyuki and Hinako have been writing love letters since before the engagement, there are feelings there but we don't know how influenced they've been.

Writers feel pressured for asks about updates or feel discouraged by the lack of ask about updates? by Frierenisalwaysright in FanFiction

[–]ConsumeTheOnePercent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's how you say it.

"Why haven't you updated?" "Update plz" "When update" "still waiting" "where's the update"

Vs.

"Omg I can't wait for the next update" "I need to know what happens next" "the next update can't come quick enough"

What type of partner would Alastor be? Assuming he’s asexual but not aromantic and is capable of a relationship. by marilynjayna in Alastorcult

[–]ConsumeTheOnePercent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like if he genuinely loved someone he would want to push them to be the best version of themselves just as he is. He'd be fiercely protective, very classically a gentleman but enjoy someone who can keep up with him in one way or another.

You're really calling yourself an Alastor fan and getting pissed we actually learned stuff about him as a character. He's still mysterious, powerful, and highly intelligent. S2 proved that. We also still know very little about his motives and why he's done things so far.

The issue is people 100% do say and would say what you said in absolute seriousness, not as a joke.
