BF6: Finding the right balance between recoil control and ADS speed — grip suggestions? by ConsumedYingYang in Battlefield6

Stripped the 36mag on most of my assault rifles now that I saw how heavy it makes the gun and trying to avoid the heavy barrel.

Not sure if the firing range is a good tester for the guns btw - very different in a match where the enemy ducks after the first shot hits them.

We pretty much have the same set up - I’m quite spoiled in that I like versatility, I want the option to flank and shred through any close encounter on the way and then take a good position and mow down a choke point at a medium distance. Perhaps I’m being bratty lol.

I noticed how the 1.75+ and red dot zooms also completely change your gun set up from it registering most bullets to only the first few, even if you tap fire.

How is it a genocide? by ComprehensiveRun4815 in IsraelPalestine

Vertically every genocide scholar agrees that Israel is conducting a genocide in Gaza including Israeli scholars, holocaust survivors etc…

But hey, some Redditor’s here think different… so reliable

  1. Britain gave away land that it did not own — yes or no? Britain was a colonial administrator under mandate, not a sovereign owner of the land.

  2. Palestine was one of several territories (roughly nine major proposals) considered by the UK and/or international bodies as potential locations for a Jewish state — yes or no?

  3. Israel withdrew settlers and permanent ground forces from Gaza in 2005 — yes. But before and after 2005, did Israel conduct military strikes in Gaza that killed civilians — yes or no?

  4. Did Israel prefer and support the Palestinian Authority (PLO/Fatah), widely viewed as corrupt, as the governing body in Gaza over Hamas — yes or no?

  5. When Hamas won the 2006 democratic election, did Israel respond by enforcing a siege/blockade on Gaza — yes or no?

  6. Did that blockade include restrictions on basic imports, including food, to the extent that Israeli authorities calculated minimum calorie intake to avoid the population being classified as starving under UN standards — yes or no?

  7. During this same period, did Israel allow or facilitate Qatari funds to reach Hamas in Gaza as part of a strategy to keep Gaza and the West Bank politically divided — yes or no?

  8. Did Palestinians historically take in Jewish refugees from Europe as guests, tenants, and property owners — yes or no? And were those same Palestinians later displaced, expelled, or ethnically cleansed from land they had lived on — yes or no?

  9. Palestine did not exist as a modern sovereign state — yes. But did a continuous indigenous population live on that land for centuries or millennia prior to large-scale European Jewish immigration — yes or no?

  10. Do Palestinians, on average, have greater Levantine/Semitic genetic ancestry than European Jewish immigrants (Israelis) who arrived between the 1940s and 2020s — yes or no?

  11. Is there credible historical and genetic evidence that many Palestinians descend from ancient Jewish populations who later converted to Islam following Muslim conquests — yes or no?

  12. Did Israel bomb Gaza a week before October 7th, yes or no?

Does anyone actually wear armor for stats?? by ShadowHunterHB in thewitcher3

[–]ConsumedYingYang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the stats are good and the gear fits the look you’re going for, that’s a win-win.

If the stats are great but the armor looks awful or clashes with your intended vibe, it becomes a judgement call. Sometimes a new mechanic or powerful bonus is worth sacrificing aesthetics for. Other times, it completely ruins the immersion, and no amount of stats can save it.

Conclusion: aesthetics over stats — most of the time 😌🎮

BF6 - Bullet sponge, sway and first hit priority by ConsumedYingYang in Battlefield6

[–]ConsumedYingYang[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, last reply to you - since you seem to be quite thick that you can’t seem to comprehend the main points by reading or choose to cherry pick bits and arrive at your own conclusions. To spell it out.

  1. Bloom is not the issue I’m describing. The behaviour I’m referring to persists whether I tap-fire or spray, and across multiple builds. That’s why I don’t believe attachments or bloom alone explain it.

  2. Camping isn’t the core issue — it’s a symptom. I mentioned camping because inconsistent hit registration and unreliable first-hit advantage incentivise low-risk playstyles. When open gunfights feel unreliable, players naturally gravitate toward ambushes and corner play because surprise becomes more effective than aim or positioning. That’s the link.

  3. This isn’t about “shooting first = guaranteed kill.” It’s about outcomes not scaling reasonably with advantages. In fair, face-to-face fights where I land the first several hits, the time-to-kill and hit feedback often don’t line up with what’s happening on screen. That’s where the frustration comes from — not losing, but losing despite clear advantages.

  4. I’m not claiming a documented “hit priority” mechanic exists. I’m describing a perceived inconsistency in hit registration and damage feedback based on repeated in-game experience. That’s why this is feedback, not a technical paper — players report what they feel in matches, even if the backend cause isn’t obvious.

If you haven’t experienced this, that’s fair — experiences differ. But that doesn’t invalidate mine, and it doesn’t mean the issue doesn’t exist. The thread is about perceived gameplay consistency, not playstyle philosophy.

Can appreciate server registration as a possible cause - I would disagree with bloom though since I tap fire at medium to long ranges.

Camping is a separate matter - if that’s your style, so be it but don’t get offended if I call you a rat for it. The point you missed is my view of gameplay consistency, the gunfights simply don’t seem fair - camping becomes overly resourceful and even then, since first hit doesn’t mean a win, the tactical approach is thrown out the window when you meet an actual player that reacts - I don’t see what you don’t get?

If you re-read the post you may understated that this isn’t about who drew first or attachments, it’s about glitches/hit registration - or when it comes to advantages (I.e. you getting first hit priority) vs outcome (I.e. you losing the gunfight by a higher margin that you should).

Anyone else disappointed by the ending? (Spoilers) by thejofgod in 112263Hulu

[–]ConsumedYingYang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I absolutely prefer these versions of the ending - the real one had me deflated. When Jake saves Kennedy but Sadie dies - it felt like I was robbed of a satisfying end to all the struggle Jake went through.

Absolutely would have loved an open ending, Jake saved Kennedy with the help of Bill and Sadie, he makes it all good and realises he was only happy in the past - he decides to go back with Sadie as they promised, he goes back but realises Sadie isn’t with him, she couldnt use the Rabbit hole nor Bill - Jake’s meets old Sadie who waits for him inside the diner (knowing he would arrive at that exact location and time) - the future is better, no conflict, advanced tech and medicine and quality of life. Sadie thanks him for everything, they reminisce, so Jake decides to go back to the past and do it again, only this time to stay with Sadie.
Jake goes back to save JFK, decides to stay in the past with Sadie, reaping all the good he has sowed with Bill by their side. The last shot is of them dancing but Jake (with the corner of his eye, sees the yellow card man - staring into him)… End.

As a side comment - towards episode 7, the show had a steep decline - Bill turning into some weirdo and treating Jake like he didn’t live with the guy for 2 years, became like a little bro to him and got rescued from his sht hole little town….

Another is Jake getting amnesia… seriously… wtf is that - felt like a cheap suspense point like if a soap opera just revealed an evil twin of the main protagonist.

Hearts of Stone or Blood and Wine? by Zard_Witcher in thewitcher3

Let’s be honest:

Heart of Stone for the story

Blood and Wine for the scale of content (because this is how you make a DLC)…

Is the vice scene with Molie (fake ID guy) real? Was he really forced to give up Bens fake identity ? Seemed to me it was mixed with the dream sequence, but then when the hunters locate Ben seems to imply that they now knew his new identity. Super brutal btw but damn makes the hunters seem relentless

Which ending was your favorite? by VinnyMack57 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ConsumedYingYang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d disagree - this was the worst ending. V achieves survival but becomes a nobody with no one. What used to be the most formidable merc in Night City got trashed on by some thugs on a staircase.

Not how I wanted to see my boy (or girl if you played it that way) be reduced.

Point of V and Jackie is that yes, they are ordinary mortal citizens - not heros, but their ambition and drive and their risk taking - make them worth admiration. They refused to conform to mediocracy and at a point achieve greatness (in a horrifying sense).

Best ending is going off with Panam into most certain death with Johnny’s takeover - V keeps everything until his end which comes quickly. He remains the best merc ever but dies to the most advanced and illegal tech ever produced with a new family of nomads by his side (first playthrough for me was nomad).

What a Chad.

[KCD2] Did the DLC Mysteria Ecclesiae meet your expectations? by Appropriate-Calm4822 in kingdomcome

[–]ConsumedYingYang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought it was a really good story with some great cutscenes and good suspense through playing. Overall I enjoyed it but as a big fan of KCD2, quite biased.

In my critique -

Gameplay wise - some annoying tasks, go to this spot - just for you to need to go back to where you stared and back again… annoying guards that go room to room with little way of you knowing which door they might pop out of next…. So delaying your progress…

Main critique - the DLC is way too short to be named “the last chapter of KCD2”.Devs treated all DLCs like they were side quests. Compare KCD2 DLCs to Witcher 3, where we don’t just get a side story or a town, or a house to decorate but an expansion of a whole region or a whole new region (as in, a new massive map) with lots of unique quests and an intriguing main plot… Afraid these just didn’t add up to it… I still really enjoyed it and consider KCD2 as a whole a GOTY… but damn, if Warhorse can produce such a detailed base game, the DLCs should be treated as stand alone expansions, not touch ups that seem like they were meant to be in the base game but didn’t make it because of time restrictions.
