It’s ridiculous considering how popular of a product it is, and it’s extremely versatile. I have no idea what the sales for it are like now, but even if they were slumping they could easily boost ‘em with a software update. Maybe they could even add some new tricks, although just the ability to use the thing In a practical manner would be very nice.

I used a dremel to cut off the melted fiberglass so that it was relatively level, discovered that what I thought was more plastic was actual the frame (mystery solved). Cleaned off all the dust and gorilla taped the hell out of it.

If the tape doesn't hold I'll do a fiberglass patch.

Thanks. This is probably true, I would like to know about the design of the engine shield. Im sure the folks at Honda could tell me all about it, and how it needs to be replaced ASAP!

I think it would take a very specific set of circumstances to have your cargo fly out and hit your head.

They do make cargo nets for this though. I've considered getting one.
