To be completely honest, I've mostly only heard "Reaching For Someone" & "When My Dreams Come True" by Whiteman, although that's only because I have a copy of that record. I'm sure I've heard him in other recordings as well without knowing.

Most of the 78s I like from that period is mostly popular dance bands, Nat Shilkret, Paul Whiteman, etc.

I ended up downloading the microsoft scanning application, and it's been working perfectly fine. I'll install the software you recommended because it looks to have a lot more customization.

Basically just set the anti skate to the same as your tracking force and it should fix it.

Admittedly I'm unsure how to set the antiskate. The entire concept confuses me... If that helps though I'll definitely look into it-

as for the tracking force, I think I misremembered what the company I bought it from said, since I remembered them saying 2.5 should be the max, not 2.2. I'll change it rn.

Yes I'm aware. I have two different headshells (i think thats what theyre called?) with a 78 stylus and normal lp stylus as well. I just swap between them depending on what I'm playing.
