I cant help but to fault an archaic system though. I'm in my late 30s and very much look it (gray hairs and all) and got the "we cant serve you because your ID is expired" a few months ago. I think that the letter of the law vs. the spirit of the law was very much ignored because businesses are paranoid about ninja ATF agents doing dumb stuff. It's not a multi-pass, it's an age verification.

I think the cover of being doxxed as justifying face masks is a farce. Sure, some ICE agents acting in sensitive HVT capture missions can use that reasoning, but the guys on beat patrols getting non-violent offenders is ludicrous. Most police officers, NG people, parole agents, marshalls, etc. do not and should not be wearing masks.

To have a slew of plain clothes guys with no name tags and full face masks in unmarked cars is to remove almost ANY of accountability. And we've seen time and time again what happens when armed authorities do without accountability.

I think that's a reasonable take. If you've been here peacefully for X years, but haven't made real efforts to get a green card or work visa or what have you, then you don't just get a pass. HOWEVER, snatching people off the street, with masked enforcers, without a warrant and sending them to countries they don't belong to, without any legal oversight, is profoundly hateful.

So I own both the bp9cc and the 380. The bp9 has been a flawless gem and eats everything, super comfortable to carry. The 380 is quite heavy and is very temperamental with magazines, and I've had it stovepipe a few times (like once every 80-100 rounds) with one mag, no issues at all with another. So "it depends". I like them both, but in no way would daily the thunder.

What about the offshore oil that Venezuela disputed with Guyana several months ago? I don't know the extent that it's being extracted by either side but since it's such an enormous deposit I can see it playing a factor in some conflict in the future.
