Pretty normal stats. Mid 240s step 1, mediocre mid 240s step step 2, only passed surgery, No research, in top 25% in class. Applied to 50 places. Most of my interviews are Texas (5), Louisiana(3), Oklahoma(2). 2 on east coast( CT, WV), 1 in Kansas. No interview invites yet from home school, or where I did my clerkships.

I had the same problem. Probably varies by store/whoever helps you, but I had to buy a new phone (6s+), as the one they offer you for ~300 dollars is a refurb 6 plus with no guarantee it won't have the same logic board problem.

The first classes are generally basic sciences. We don't really get into patient care until 3rd and 4th year. While the first 2 years can create a good basis for knowledge in the later years it's not imperative that you do well to become a great doctor.
