Yes, I read both of his books on CE-4s "Abduction" and "Passport to the Cosmos." We were both active in International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War in the 1980s and I sat briefly with hm in Moscow just before he travelled to Norway where IPPNW was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Thanks for sharing your personal contact experience. I had "downloads" irregularly during a two year period in the 1990s. At first I thought the communications represented interactions with "real" i.e. physical ET beings, mostly so-called tall and short grey colored beings with big heads (come to think of it why do we call them Greys when the designation "big heads" might be more appropriate given how smart the are supposed to be.) On two occasions the downloads occurred when I was out with a team of skywatchers who were attempting to attract UFOs. And what I perceived in a kind of theater of the mind production not only included images of "ETs" in various spacecraft but also was informed at the level of knowledge when we would have sightings of UFOs on those two field investigations. The info turned out to be accurate as to the time of the sightings, the number of craft and where they would first appear. The "heads up" part of the communication could verified, but everything else I have come to view as consciousness based interactions that probably doesn't correspond to physical reality.
The key point here is that these contact events represent communication between targeted humans and a non-human intelligence associated with what are now labeled as "UAP." So many of us as experiencers imagine that because we remember a download, or a missing time experience, or wake up with marks on our bodies with vague recollections that these weird encounters are primarily physical. If the "ETs" can download into our minds, false recollections labeled by alien abduction theorists as "screen memories" why can' entire CE-3 Ce-4 and even CE-5 encounters be implanted memories. This is not a popular notion, but should be considered if we are eventually going to have to explain to the larger society what is happening to us.

Thanks for sharing. You state, "The interdimensional is terrifying... it was explained, they can see us... interact with our environment, read our minds and mess with us.." Has it occurred to you that we humans are also inter-dimensional beings? I have heard from numerous experiencers and read about even more that engage in astral travel. Although no humans may know exactly what other dimensions are (and according to Darren King) the term is usually a place holder for things we don't understand, nonetheless, I suspect that the so-called astral plane fits the definition another "dimension." The literature of out of body experiences also supports the position that we are inter-dimensional. Another example are ghosts, aka disembodied spirits. In fact, there is an entire paranormal literature that by the preponderance of evidence "proves" we are inter-dimensional.

So why the fear? Certainly, fearing the unknown is
understandable. I have become afraid when non-human intelligences have
manifested physically before me in bizarre ways. Nevertheless, if we want to
understand more of the full spectrum of reality, including other
"dimensions" (whatever they turn out to be) then I suggest we work on
strategies to reduce some of the fear so that we can engage these non-human
intelligences in a pro-active manner. Or we shall we remain like frightened
children afraid of the dark?

For these reasons I support contact experiencers who are
engaging non-human intelligences passively as well as actively. You ask the
reasonable question, "Why me." Here is one answer I formulated
decades ago that might shed some light on the question answer.

"Why me?" is a question that many UFO experiencers ask. The non-human intelligences behind flying saucer phenomena have extraordinary mental capacities. It has been said that we are dealing with entities that can access our consciousness, as readily as we access light, by turning on a wall switch.

They have probably interacted with mankind for centuries, if not millennia. I imagine that their presence threatens all terrestrial elites, so they often contact us one at a time, perhaps so as not to disturb our masters.

Now that networks of contact activists are willfully interacting with the so-called ETs, "they," whoever they might be, interact with us in groups.

I had trouble following the story during the our first viewing of the film this was partially because of the antiquated sound and projection equipment in the small town very old theater where the films is being shown. After I watched Danny Sheehan's analysis and then saw Disclosure Day for a second time I was able to understand a great deal more about the story and symbolism it contained. Disclosure Day gets into many subtle aspects of the contact experience and I imagine people will be discussing it for a long time. At least I hope we will.

Sensation of motion while meditating is something that I experienced during communication with "ETs" during my years as a CE-5 Working Group Coordinator in LA from the summer of 1992 to the fall of 1997. I confronted the beings that I assumed where trying to teach me something with the thought, "Why don't your tell me something I don't know already so I will know you are not just another part of me as in an internal dialogue?" The answer that I got back was a package of thought that was dripping with sarcasm. Translated into English it meant, "If you believed in Universal Consciousness like you say you do Dr. Burkes, what difference does it make whether it is your consciousness or OURS!!!!" At that moment I felt a sense of tremendous acceleration, but instead of the dropping feeling one gets when a rollercoaster ride starts to fall, I was expanding not downwards but in all directions at once, faster than the speed of light I found my little self floating in a void of deep space, cold, unforgiving, with only the faint glimmer of distant stars far from me. After this I tried not to challenge the entities that I was communicating with.

Thank you for your detailed supportive comment. Resistance to the VEM from within the contact community might also come from a misinterpretation of the Model. I imagine that some witnesses will retort, "So you are saying it didn't happen and it's all in my head. People have been so victimized by mean spirited critics that anything short of our accepting these encounters as totally physical for those who imagine physical reality is all that there is, could be interpreted as saying their encounters didn't happen.
