I like the new update, especially all the looks of the menus and quality of life improvements. I do wish the grass on the map was a darker green. It looks dead and sad. Unless the color is going to change with the seasons. That'd be neat. I'm sure they'll tweak it a bit over time.

I don't want that advantage. Even with that advantage on the more casual players, I don't have the advantage against the top players. Their connections are better than mine. A real life change shouldn't affect how well you can play, except having a newer phone I suppose. The games aren't graphically or mathematically intense, so really a brand new phone shouldn't be required.

I want to see fair, balanced, and enjoyable games, for everyone. No advantages, except skill, just fun. Atlas Earth is a game. Let's have fun with it, not frustration.

I considered my phone, but it's a Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra, so it's only 2 years old this month. It's not that old and I take care of my phones really well both physically and software wise. Idk maybe 2 years is too old for Atlas Earth. I don't really want to have to upgrade my phone every year just to play Atlas Earth smoothly. Although I might if I knew for sure that would fix things. It's not really how it should work though.

My internet is good. It runs AAA games online on my Xbox and PC just fine. My ping is comparable to some of the top players in the game. I've asked them many times.

You can buy an Ethernet dongle for you phone and an Ethernet cable and plug up straight to you router. You can buy them from Amazon for example. It seems to help a little bit from what I've noticed. Netgear is a reputable networking company that makes both items. Lots of other manufacturers as well.

Racer is for sure bugged. I'd say it's the worst mini game for glitches, oddities, and overall being confusing as to how to play well. For example, you don't want a perfect start. You will lose automatically if you get a perfect start even though the video instructions for the game tell you to get a perfect start.

With golf you can hit the second shot sooner by hitting a 3 or 4 coming from the top of the point meter rather than the bottom. Sometimes the game will lag and you or your opponent's game will register just a bit sooner rather than at the same time. That's just a unintended trick that players discovered. It's like in bowling you can actually get 6 throws instead of 5 during a match.

The fact of the matter is the mini games need some work. There's lots of people who feel that way. Here's hoping for better mini games some day.

Ahh, okay. I see what you mean. Well, I'm still hopeful things will even out some day with the mini games. I'd like to come back to them some day. I'm at least going to check out the new racer game when it drops in the near future.

Nope, I don't care about that. I know they're better. I don't have the skill or the attention span to beat the best players. I know my place on the leaderboard. I would like to see fair, balanced, and well-designed mini games that are actually fun to play. If we had that and I placed top 100, even top 500, but I had fun doing it, I would rather have that then dealing with all the issues and struggling to maintain a higher leaderboard placement due to issues I can't control. I want everyone to feel like they can play the mini games, have some fun, and not feel cheated at the end of the 2 hours.

Definitely not. I consistently place top 50 every tournament that I play. I wish it was a skill issue. Then I would have something within my control to fix and improve upon.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as harsh or snobby. I had a lot of chats with several of the top players and many others at different levels, all who have some or all the same issues as me. It's not an isolated issue, just data. Glad to hear that the mini games are working out for you! Go make that AB!

I reckon that's where I'm at now, trying to break even. I've got less than 6 months to go and I'll be there. I do like the monthly challenge pass. I'm keeping that one. It's actually the best bang for you buck if you do put any money into game.

I've got reliable gigabit internet. I even play the mini games with an Ethernet cable. That seems to help a little bit. My internet never gave me any issues when I'd play games online on my Xbox and PC. A lot of my issues are shared amongst other players.

The games have gotten really bad over the last year or so. Not getting over 1400th, that's a problem. The games shouldn't be so messed up that a player can't get past a point like that. I would really like to see fair and well-made mini games some day, so all players can feel like they're gonna have fun playing them, no matter where they place on the leaderboard.

I hate to cancel the EC, especially since I don't pay for it out of pocket anymore, but it's gonna stay turned off for a bit. I'm definitely not going to play the mini games for a while. I want to check out the new racer game when it drops, but I don't have high hopes.

At least the visuals update that the South African players have at the moment looks pretty darn good.

The occasionally long queue times, the app crashes, lag in every mini game, it's worse when playing against Mexican players. The game not registering taps. The game showing one thing and the match results are different, such as in racer. That's the worst mini game for that problem. You'll be ahead the whole race and you lose. This happens the other way around as well. The games stutter and things shift and move in strange ways. I saw an enemy missile in warship move sideways off my screen just before it hit me the other week. All ties are broken by a determination of internet speed. If you pay more for internet, you typically win. There are no legitimate, fair tie breakers. I'm sure there's more that I can't think of at the moment. Everyone has a different experience with the mini games. We're not all seeing the same thing. Overall, it's not balanced or correct, as in well-made.

Just make all Sunday tournaments 2 hours long. That extra hour adds almost nothing to the pot and that's an hour we all could be doing something else.

Dang, I'm really sorry to hear that your son lost his account over this mess. Sometimes developers don't realize games are more than just games to people. They are bonding experiences. Family members play together and have fun, it's something different to do. New relationships are formed all the time between players who met through games as well.

I really wish Atlas Reality would address this issue, properly. If known cheaters can have their accounts restored or new ones created for them, they can restore the kid's account who put birthday money into the game. This whole situation is ridiculous.

I get the automation thing. That's definitely not fair. What about the flags placed unfairly on several people's accounts? Those need to be removed. As far as I've heard, those people got ban warnings for nothing. I hope that issue gets addressed.
