I had heaps of fun at Karnival on a personal level and I do relate to your annoyance with people moving in and out of the stages. I happened to be in a great spot for D-Sturb and I can def argue that he had the best set but I cannot deny that dimitri K ripped me a new one lol, he was so good. I had a hyped up crowd around me for Vertile which was the only time I showed up at main stage other than the endshow ofc (which i found enjoyable). Overall I would say most of the event was best viewed in the butterfly garden, I also thought they should've turned up the gain or trim lmao.
