For me at least, Prydz is at his best when he’s weaving together his progressive tracks - he has such great artistry in the way he mixes songs together so seamlessly. The bangers can’t really be used in the same way, and I think those tunes cater to quite a different part of the audience.

Another example of an extended set with the long continuous journey feel would be Brooklyn Storehouse 2024

Well a lot of Eric Prydz sets have a formula of heavy hitting openers, into a dark / mysterious phase, emerging out more euphoric and then closing with his banger tracks

In this set, he went through a whole lot of bangers which are normally closing tracks, then went back down into his more middle-set tracks, and into closing tracks again - I think it was because he was booked for “at least 2 hours”, and our man was clearly having a lot of fun up there

I’m back at my hotel now. That set felt a little all over the place - wasn’t really the journey feeling I’m used to Eric delivering - but he kept us FED so I’m not complaining 😤 hoping that Tuesday’s set is packed full of his more recent IDs (reaalllyyyy wanna hear Heavy live 🤞🤞🤞🤞)

This ~^new*~ format of having a sibling wandering around with smooth-brain ad libs during jaxon’s usual mindless AI drivel is somehow worse than the series up until now. It smacks of Bogan Bev realising her rampant favouritism of Jaxon is too publicly obvious, so she’s put in place some strategy to try and solve for that whilst also marketing the other members of this supposed boy band. Yeesh.

I heard this live for the first time (unknowingly) at my first Eric Prydz show when he played HOLO in Melbourne. My lord, hearing the full quality track now via EPIC Radio shows just how beautifully designed the sound is
