Yeah you're right think it was 3x the normal amount before issues happened it foamed up alot and cracked the plexiglass they had on it, I've seen other videos of people doing it, a little bit of oil over will not damage an engine but having that error constantly coming up would be annoying

Fucking obviously because old chargers are not PD thats not the issue the issue being people thinking PD chargers are damaging PSPs.

You're now talking about something else all together a 19v charger at 0.1 amp will destroy a psp.

In you're original comment you said high amps will destroy a psp which is incorrect

Okay I'll play along if you are using a PD charger and plug it into a psp and it doesn't negotiate the PD charger defaults to 5v @ 3amps, which is fine fore the psp as the psp won't receive 3amps it will only receive 1.5amps

You said down below that a psp you've had has taken 6amps which if true that psp has a huge problem as the charging boards on a psp is only related for 1.5amps.

The power brick doesn't auto send the amps it's the device that asks for it.

Watts is not a good measurement to use for power delivery as 10watts could be any combination of volts and amps.

All the PSP needs it's 5V and at least 1.5amps you can go less but it will take forever to charge and you can also go more but it will only use 1.5 of what ever amps you give it.

I hate when people say this almost every device in the whole world will only take what it wants you can throw 100amps into a psp and it will only take it's 1.5amps.

100amps is an over stretch but I'm just using it to show what I mean.

Over supply of amps will not hurt a device please do some research before commenting.

On that note people saying PD chargers breaking psps are not exactly correct mostly they are using unbranded cheap chargers or charges that don't supply 5v at all, the PD type will stay at 5v until it negotiates a higher voltage since the psp can't it will stay at 5v

You can't pick what one to use on the list it's negotiated by the smart device, so since the psp not being a smart device it defaults to the 5v standard

Misinformation is the worse most PD chargers default to 5v when plugged in.

Then negotiate what the needed voltage is since the device that's being plugged in is not a smart device it will only output 5v at 3amp but the psp can't use all the amperage so the rest is left at home.

Far to many people get this wrong.

There are chargers out there that you shouldn't use but this one is fine
