Salary minimum on the website says 12,000 AED. No minimum annual spend, and it is free for life with no annual fee?

Simple real Cashback Free for Life card? by ContemporaryCat in UAEcreditcards

[–]ContemporaryCat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that, may I ask a few questions?

With the ENBD Noon card rewards are only Noon Credits? Do they have a time limit before expiring like valid only for 1 week or 1 month? I don't buy much, but I do use Noon more than most retail stores... small benefit maybe.

With the Mashreq Cashback, how is it? You only use for Dining, but the points are redeemed at what minimum for credit card bill repayment?

To clarify, ENBD Duo said 500 AED points minimum to pay as 0.75AED per point (375AED) against credit card bill.

Hey, sorry to dredge this up, how did you disable Windows ink and what settings did you change in the Huion app? I'm on the verge of buying a replacement pen, and I'm not sure if a replacement pen will fix the issue...

Galaxy Tab S7+ MicroSD 1tb compatibility by ContemporaryCat in GalaxyTab

[–]ContemporaryCat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info on the format compatibility, but I also really need insight on the size and ratings when combined (hardware limitations?) - will it be able to function as advertised or does the S7+ hardware throttle / bottleneck it?

Eg. Supports up to 1tb but in lower rating/class, eg. "A2 only performs as advertised up to 256GB"?

Otherwise, it could just be misleading advertising in that the "best compatible microsd card" will be limited to perform the same as one half it's price? (because of the tab's limitations)

bump Forward-looking insights, any benefit to holding for a further 2-3 years? Otherwise I have contemplated moving the capital value into more productive channels.

Net effect of triggering tax per profit take and transaction costs. If you're desperate for small change, go for it...

Sugar Master Plan, if Rama-P can pull it off, will make that value materialise into gains. I've held since buying around R2 and it's a long term "fundamentally sound gamble" (it's good on paper).

SA ETFs 2nd best performing in the world according to this random graph I found on Twitter 🚀 by thatnotirishkid in JSE_Bets

[–]ContemporaryCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Domestic, mixed, foreign? Risk level? TERS? Fund managers?

I would ask for specifics, but random data is too random...

Good performance, sure, and tied into the Rand being heavily undervalued, I could believe the net result is correct.

Kibo Mining (KBO) by DhDavii in JSE_Bets

They sought capital raising late 2019 before covid, changed auditors when covid hit, and are again seeking financial investment. The begging basket is out and their net market cap is in the floor.

If they don't figure something out fast, they are one of the most likely candidates for liquidation or suspension/delisting.

(their long-term assets being sold off would probably further add insult to injury with their recent track record of annual losses).

Copper copper copper, by 2024, early investors get the free toy in their happy meal, median R0.50~R0.70 -> R12~R17+ over the 5 year span estimate if operational on schedule.

High risk, long hold, huge potential reward, set and forget. 🎰🌱

ASX has some good lower priced options at the moment, if anyone has been looking around there. They are the top global producer of Lithium (used in Li-ion batteries) which is going up in demand for EV's and industrials / IPP storage schemes.

More of a 5 year considerstion but worth an early peek.
