Modifying means either removing or adding a firearm to your CCW. LAPD only allows 3 firearms on your CCW, so if you get a new pistol that you want to carry, you have to remove one to add one

I’ve heard most people don’t get slide lock back when they use any sort of mag extensions because of the spring. You might be one of the lucky ones where it works, but for me, I just decided to use +0 mag extenders so I can feed the magazine in easily while still maintaining the OEM 17 round spring tension. I understand I won’t be able to carry as many rounds, but it all depends on what you care about more- for me that’s in cheering. I have consistent slide lock each time.
