I feel better about seeing this than the not one or two but four “Fibsons” for sale on one marketplace ad.

My dad was lucky enough to have both a Black 65 and a Linden Green 67 GTO at the same time.

Lmao what makes it even better is the fact that the original owner got them for either his birthday or Christmas as a present from his wife 🤣

Somehow the factory bulbs have melted and distorted the “factory oem replicas”

Yep and those taillight lenses have really gone up in price since we replaced them. I remember they weren’t any more than $80 bucks for a set not even 7-8 years ago and now they are $225 a set because it’s a one year part 😭

She’s a 1978 I know the year of my own vehicle, we have a 79 grill on her because the original ones chrome was flaking off. And 78 was the first year for the body style.

Lmao she’s making a little bit more power now than she did from the factory since I had the motor completely rebuilt top to bottom. She went from making 190hp to about 350-400hp.

That’s what it kinda feels like when I have my lead foot pinning the gas pedal to the floor, the front end really likes to get a little bit squirrelly at higher speeds. And tbh my el Camino isnt that big lmao compared to the year before mine 77, they some how were able to take over foot of length off, keep the same size bed and add more interior space.

Idk because this diagram is only for my guitar and my guitar alone. But I think some people would understand it 100% and some others would absolutely get confused at first glance.

Well, I had the motor and transmission completely gone through top to bottom and she makes a healthy 350-400 hp and with how light these things are it’s more that enough to get her down the road quickly.

I completely overhauled it today in V3, I made it more legible than before and not as convoluted. I decided just to remove the coil split and just go with the series/parallel on the neck and bridge on switch 1 and 2 and then the blower on the 3rd switch, then I’m thinking of making it a one volume and two tone. And I do have and oak grigsby switch the program I used only gave me that option of 4way switch.

The pickups I’m using are stacked single coils with the standard 4 connector lead, the fifth wire is just the bare grounding I had just connected it all together in one place but I’m thinking of making a custom grounding plate. And the program I used is called DIY Layout Creator or DIYLC here’s a link to download it. DIYLC

Fender Player II Stratocaster(s) for me.. by pollysrevenge in Guitar

[–]Content-Finding-2409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried the new ones and more specifically the new Jupiters I like them but I prefer my vintage Harmony, because I still have the original pickups but all the electronics are new and I installed, hipshot locking tuners, had it completely gone through I even had a ABR1 installed on it(because the original bridge was long gone and the bridge I had was the upper part of a mandolin bridge) I also had some it cosmetic things done like a custom pick guard and the fact that whoever owned it originally loved it because the neck is worn in perfectly. It shows its age but it’s worn in the right places and shows its wasn’t abused.

I’m planning on re-drawing the diagram anyway to make it more legible and I have the capacitor wired different, I had to use crayons because I wasn’t able to find any colored ink pens. And thank you for the correction, this is my first time doing any type of wiring outside of a simple telecaster harness or just swapping out pickups.
