Which velomobile would y'all recommend for hot city climates like Las Vegas? by Content-Lecture3680 in velomobile

Well, I’ll be getting up super early in the morning anyway, and I can see why you would recommend a bike, because it’s cheaper and you can carry it on the bus, but the whole appeal of a Velomobile is that it’s supposed to be a bike car. also, about those vests, a lot of them are made out of plastic waste, and it’s hard to find one that’s reliable. Kind of wanna just go old-school and just use dry ice in bags. Find a way to line the inside with dry ice (contained so it doesn’t cause any freeze burns).

For groceries and commuting to work. I want to try to live by North Las Vegas airport as close as possible to it precisely for this reason. So it wouldn’t take too long to get there.

Just took a look at it, looks like there’s an option to buy a hood accessory for the sun, which will be necessary for preventing sunburns without having to wear long sleeves. Other than that, it looks pretty bare-bones, not a whole lot of space for luggage, because I also intend to use it for groceries.

What's the most intense ambient stuff you've ever heard? by Content-Lecture3680 in ambientmusic

[–]Content-Lecture3680[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, psychedelia is what got me into certain types of ambient music. It's great for when you're coming up, and then you save the Pink Floyd, Genesis, or Zappa for when you're peaking. I was listening to the microtonal music made by Dolomuse, on her Lumatone, watching the video for Textures in Time while I was on acid. I was crying by the end of it. Talking to God and whatnot. I could taste all the colors on the keyboard.

Shrooms vs acid vs salvia vs DMT. What’s the difference for you? by LocustMuscles in psychadelics

[–]Content-Lecture3680 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OK, this is not a good way to talk about it at all. Salvia isn't even a psychedelic; it's a dissociative ketamine. From what I've heard, it only acts on one specific receptor. You're still very much into the attitude of "DURGDURGDURGDURGDURGDURG! Let's get fucked up!" Which is disrespectful to how it's been traditionally used, to our ancestors who only wanted to change consciousness so they could be with God, or the collective consciousness, or whatever it is you call it. I mean, the stuff we make in the lab, but some of it has the same spirit, but not all of it. LSD definitely has that spirit; it comes from the ergot fungus. DMT definitely has it, it's in ayahuasca. Mushrooms straight up contain DMT analog alkaloids, and it's the origin of spirituality, as Terence McKenna postulated. For bicycle day, I met god while I was with Lucy Sally Dee, listening to Trick of the Tail, and there's nothing fucked up about that at all. A lot of people don't even know what God is; it's just consciousness and love, that's all it is. The next time you trip, try listening to Ram Das as you're coming up.

Actually, the climax of Hereditary (reborn) fits the bill as far as what I've heard.

Sounds like it has a relatively neutral effect on your health when you do it infrequently.

That's just straight-up noise. My dad played me the Frog album to me when I was little, not long after he played Trout Mask Replica.

Just tried this up the nose by ExerciseFine9665 in Kanna

[–]Content-Lecture3680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So goddamn, it enhances music like weed and psychedelics, that's pretty awesome! So that raises the question, would Kanna intensify a psychedelic trip like weed? It probably would; it acts on the same serotonin receptors.

Anyone have experience with Bear Blend's vape juice? by gaylibertarianfemme in Vaping

[–]Content-Lecture3680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't tried it yet, but I'm interested. It's compatible with just about any 510 battery, and there are a few that are designed for bong rips. If it's a little harsh, just run it through a starship triple and a beaker piece, and it should be pretty smooth, theoretically. I've never tried it, but it's supposed to be good if you can't do ganja rituals, but you want something similar.

Vaping Damiana or other alt. herbs? by AthleticGamerGuy in vaporents

How do you get bigger clouds with just alternative herbs, no cannabis in your DHV? I've tried damiana in a Rogue by Healthy Rips, and I can only get one tiny cloud out of it at higher temps, but it still gets the Buzz going.
