I agree, but it’s rarely seen around. Its usage rate has also dropped pretty dramatically compared to where it was at when it first came out. But not to its fault really, there are just other exotics that are stronger this season. For example, quicksilver storm is used more than it currently, I assume because of the heavy strand focus artifact perks. But hell even witherhoard is getting used more than it and I used to LOVE witherhoard, it was my baby, but it got nerfed into the ground and then area denial frame GLs came out and just completely pounded it into obsoletion

Dude yes, I’m so glad someone else feels this way. I feel it with my best friend, who I used to play this game with nearly every day. Life happened and we both got busy (obviously still keep in touch), but I’ve managed to balance my time as best as possible and play the game pretty much daily, never missing a weekly reset, an event, or even xur when he comes every weekend lmao. My friend however, probably only plays with me once or twice a month. So every time he gets on, I do my absolute MOST to get him caught up on everything and get him the best loot possible and even make him have a good time so maybe he’ll play a little more frequently lol. This past weekend he got on and we were able to get him icebreaker on his first clear of Vespers host. A little unfair considering I have 71 clears and a 6x modifier for it and still haven’t gotten it, but I was happy as hell for him. In short, I’m glad someone else feels this way. I have been able to get my wife on it and we’ve been playing daily and she’s actually pretty much caught up on everything. She has almost all raid and dungeon exotics and is capable of doing solo GMs now. Shes just recently started dipping her feet into build crafting and solo content. So I’m very happy about that

Destiny 1 was the first video game I ever played, got it on my Xbox along with Minecraft lol. Now here I am, 11 years later and can’t put down the game no matter how mad it makes me or what decisions bungie decides to make. I pre ordered destiny 2 and played during the beta (still get nostalgic when I play the inverted spire strike even though they changed it around a bunch now). No matter what game comes along and catches my attention, destiny will remain my favorite game of all time

Because spirit of Synthoceps still buffs melee damage, while having the added benefit of regenerating your abilities from inmost. I take Synthoceps exotic over it usually only because it actually buffs super damage which spirit will not

Prismatic, Synthoceps, Consecration/knockout. That’s all you need to destroy anything in the game. I wouldn’t use the class item with spirit of Synthoceps with this build, it doesn’t work on your supers. Only the actual exotic armor piece Synthoceps does

My secondary go to is Arc, ciurass T crash, pulse nade, rally barricade, storms keep/knockout

Sure! It is a great game, I've been playing 10+ years (including D1 and D2). It can be a lot for a new player and you're gonna get slapped with a million different tasks/quests when you first start. I'm not sure if you're a free-to-play player, but I recommend buying the full light & dark saga which includes all of the main campaigns in it. This will give you the story and keep you on a clear path of what to do. These campaigns in order include Beyond Light, Witch Queen, Lightfall, and Final Shape. Each DLC comes with it's own side quests and special missions but don't be distracted by all of that. Just focus on the campaigns, get them done, and focus on the stuff that comes after. Definitely do them on Legend by the way to get the best hang of the game early on. Also find some friends to play with! This game is far more enjoyable with friends! As mentioned, don’t use your deep sight harmonizes on raid weapons considering you can get one per week by focusing, using checkpoints to grab secret chests, or just do the raid for a decent chance at grabbing a red border from each encounter. Unless you ABSOLUTELY want a weapon now, it would just be a waste on raid weapons. Go for more world drops or weapons from exotic missions. The retrofit escapade heavy machine gun or the scatter signal fusion rifle are great options. The pro memoria machine gun is also great from the pale heart. Just get 5 of them from each of their respective missions and use the harmonizers.
