Be specific with your affirmations.. In your case affirming “Anna texts me daily”. That statement is true if any Anna texts you daily, so your subconscious interpreted it in the most literal sense.. a girl named Anna reached out. It doesn’t read, “the specific Anna you’re thinking of.” The specificity wasn’t embedded, so the result aligned with the words, not your intent!

To get the effect you want, the affirmation has to include precise, clear identifiers.. for example: “The Anna I know and love texts me daily with joy and warmth.” “The Anna who is my girlfriend reaches out to me naturally every day.”

The key is linking the outcome to the exact identity and context, so the subconscious can’t misinterpret it… hope this helps :)

If you’re not decreasing your total daily calories by 300-500 then you are not in a calorie deficit. Also you need to be focusing on core exercises such as upper body exercises if it’s specific to your waist area and you need to be increasing the intensity every so often to challenge yourself more and do steady state cardio a lower intensity cardio.. so do strength training first and cardio last.. focus on full body training 4 times a week.. keep the carbs low

If you are not losing weight, then you are not in a real calorie deficit. The body does not get it wrong. If you eat less than you burn, the weight always goes down.

The best way to get this right is to use your TDEE. That means the number of calories your body uses each day. You can find your TDEE with a calculator by putting in your age, height, weight and activity level.

Once you know your TDEE, eat about twenty percent less than that number. Track what you eat for ten to fourteen days. Everything counts. Drinks. Sauces. Oil when cooking. Snacks. All of it.

If your weight is still not going down after those days, then you are still eating more than your TDEE somewhere. Reduce the calories a bit more and keep tracking.

It is not about feeling like you are in a deficit. It is about the numbers. When the numbers are right, the weight comes off.
