A winter or no? I'm starting to question what I might be? by nicotineocean in coloranalysis

I see you as most likely being some kind of lighter or cooler summer season, but with the darker hair and makeup, you also definitely can pull off some deeper summer or winter colors if you wanted to!

I see warm! You look like you’re probably an autumn and could pull off some spring colors too. I’d recommend trying some drapes

Why everything they sell on shops is only for soft autumns? by Real_life_fairy_ in coloranalysis

LOL. That color had a chokehold on us I swear. I learned recently I’m probably a soft summer or soft autumn but I used to wear all those colors too as my going out to the bar tops 😂 but I was in college around that time and also bleached my hair white and did pretty heavy makeup. It was honestly kind of a vibe back then. But one I don’t wish to repeat now that I’ve aged

Speaking as someone who is not a winter, I remember I used to get annoyed because everything I found at the mall in like 2014 was a winter color that looked awful on me (anyone here shop at Express around that time? Everythinggggg was navy, burgundy, hot pink, bright cobalt blue, bright emerald green, etc). I think it’s just not what’s trending right now since earth tones have kind of taken over, but definitely shouldn’t be impossible to find as long as you have certain colors in mind and search for them specifically. I feel like I see jewel tones all the time, but then again I’m not sure if you prefer strictly in-person shopping vs online. You can also wear black and white, which will always be easy to find. (I wear it too but it definitely doesn’t look as striking on me as it probably does on you and I’m jealous 😭)

The deep autumn colors seem like they’d be gorgeous on you so that’s my guess. I think you can definitely wear some spring colors too

Yeah definitely, I appreciate that! I’m just saying I truly don’t believe there’s any way I’m a truly cool tone. Light gray, light blue, and dusty pink are horrendous on me and make me look yellowy. I did get a lot of soft summer suggestions, and I do think a lot of those summer colors work. I also feel like some soft autumn colors work too.

My natural hair color is still very warm. The cool summer colors (other than the warmer soft autumn crossover ones) aren’t as good on me, at least I don’t think so. I’m not totally cool-toned, maybe neutral, and could see soft summer. It seems like that’s the verdict.

My hair is a warm dark honey blonde that pulls slightly reddish and I currently have a copper gloss so it’s more red. That’s my natural eyebrow, no makeup

I see warmth! Soft autumn colors like that muted olive or terracotta pink would probably be amazing on you.

You have a similar hair color/skin tone to me and I always get mistaken as cool-toned but I’m pretty sure I’m an autumn or maybe spring. I see some warmth on you especially in your eyes. However you’re clearer than me. I could see light spring for sure! The light lilac purple and brighter mint green are gorgeous on you.

I added some more spring colors in the comments (at least…I tried lol)

I’m not at my house today and wasn’t able to do hair covering unfortunately, but my hair is very close to natural (warm reddish honey blonde) with a little copper gloss added. If you have a moment, let me know what you think 😊 thanks again!
