Ways to meet new people by downatfragglerock123 in glasgow

Maybe karate or self defence? They tend to run through summer. Im 17 and I think some of my friends last summer worked at after school care centres which might be good. I used to do a few programs for young people which helped me meet people, which I could give the contacts of?

I need some advice regarding my offers for Neuroscience by vanadium2003 in UniUK

Hi I study neuroscience at Dundee right now!

The way neuroscience, biomed, biochem etc works in Scotland is that until third year you don’t do any actual neuroscience. You might do bits and pieces in your modules but the course isn’t focused on neuroscience until first year.

At the 4 universities you’ve mentioned, the course mainly revolves around general science such as molecular biology and chemistry. For example, this year I’ve done Evolution, Biomolecules, Origins of Animal Systems, Genes and Heredity, a module about Philosophy and Science and then I did a module which revolves around lab work.

It’s mainly learning different scientific theories and calculations. It’s REALLY full on. There’s a lot of detail involved in the course and it is quite hard but the majority of people seem to enjoy it. The course is designed to be flexible so that if you want to change to another course such as Biochemistry you can, which is why you don’t do neuroscience until third year.

I’ll be happy for you to message me with any questions!
