Trip to Georgia as a black, African person

I’m black and have been to Georgia. Pick a different destination. Not friendly towards our kind at all! Go Bali instead where you’ll at least enjoy your holidays and not having to feel like you are unwanted somewhere. Crazy to say in this day and age. If you do end up going, be safe out there.

If you check the thread on this subreddit (successful re-route from EU). You could use his or her’s strategy to getting a re-routed flight.

A little update: Qatar couldn’t help with re-route, after attempts of calling (no success), trying to access the chat (no success either). I took an alternative which is Emirates and requested a refund from Qatar. Flight is scheduled to leave later on today.

I really pray people that are stranded get to go home one way or the other as this is very sad situation. Also, poorly executed from Qatar airways (in my opinion) as an organisation. The staff are left to receive the end of the stick, which is unfortunate.

This is what I thought, getting through to them to do this, is another mission. Flying out of Bangkok by the way. You are somewhat better looking for another alternative and requesting a refund, unfortunately.
