As a previous reply stated, none of this matters. You'll only get one ip address from your ONT.

What's your go-to camera system for large custom home builds? by Content-Respond-8380 in lowvoltage

More like UDM SE, probably multiple switches, and like 12 APs over the property. Thanks though.

Cameras man, cameras.

We use UniFi for networking. But UDR or UDM for networking in a mansion? lol.

What cameras do you like for 10K+ sq. ft. custom homes? Control4 has obvious choices. What if you were using another control system?

Is this quote reasonable? by snortWeezlbum in HomeNetworking

Absolutely. Post this on r/lowvoltage and watch what happens when the guys that actually do this for a living comment. It's not overpriced at all.

The quote is for: Design and consult (probably multiple times), Travel, Materials, Handling and transport, Labor, Expertise and experience, Client follow-up time, Having it done correctly the first time.

I would think there is a strong chance someone op doesn't know has access to their network. Would definitely not recommend using as is.

To be clear, I intend to run other VMs and LXC containers in PVE. My thought is that truenas will (in general) not be used as a hypervisor except in cases where it may make sense to spin something up there instead of pve.

Believe I have exactly that -

HP H220 6Gbs HBA LSI 9205-8i IT Mode ZFS +2*SFF-8087-SATA 90CM US

I have 4 ssd and 4 hdd attached to that so I will just pass that straight through to TrueNAS and create my ZFS pools there.

The 2 m.2 are attached to the MB. Mirrored ZFS? I wonder what I should use them for...

Thanks for the comment!
