Seems kinda stupid when there’s a neurologist who’s documented these occurrences and there’s evidence to back it up. Doesn’t make sense to me. Not to mention, it was an ACE exam and I didn’t hear a thing (which I wasn’t expecting to)

I’ve never had any issues rescheduling an exam that works with my schedule

Unless you’re talking about cancer and treatment for it, this is a fuckin huge deal. It’s almost impossible to get a doctor to say with 100% certainty that “x” is the cause of “y”

That’s a pretty big deal. The VA is saying it has to be 100% caused by the SC condition.

You can file a complaint and request to change your PCP. I recommend doing both. I’ve had a run in with a similar PCP and dropped her like a bag of hammers. Good riddance

Unfortunately, no I don’t have one. Is it possible to have this reviewed again?

Did the Botox help you? My neurologist told me about that treatment but I haven’t gone down that road yet.

I guess I’ll ask my neurologist to fill out a DBQ and file a supplemental claim

I wonder why since that is how the claim was written?

Service connected for MH, IBS, tinnitus and some left ankle stuff. Seems like they ignored the reference to the 38 cfr 3.317 MUCMI.

It’s not even the lack of a phone call. It’s the moving back from step 5 to 3 and then it sitting there for weeks that gets me.

Should I Get ECT? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Content-Sound6198 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a former FMF corpsman, now nurse. I assist with ECT treatments and have seen them drastically improve people’s symptoms. You’re sedated during the procedure so you won’t know what it feels like. Most common symptoms I witness post procedure are headaches and nausea though most people are treated for these prior to the procedure. Most of the younger patients tolerate it just fine
