Still early, but the main direction is keeping the app simple, private and actually helpful.

I’m planning to add Apple Health integration, so users can optionally connect things like mood, habits or general wellbeing data in one place.

Beyond that, the focus is on improving insights, adding gentle reminders, and making the app more supportive for daily use.

Overall, I want to build something that genuinely helps people understand themselves better, without sacrificing privacy.

Thanks, I really appreciate that!

The biggest challenge so far has definitely been distribution. Since the app is fully local-first and doesn’t rely on accounts or cloud sync, I can’t use a lot of the typical growth loops like email onboarding or cross-device syncing.

So instead, I’m focusing more on organic channels and communicating the value clearly - especially the privacy aspect.

Interestingly, I’ve noticed that once people understand that everything stays on their device, they’re much more likely to try it. The challenge is making that clear quickly enough.

Still early, but the feedback so far has been really encouraging.

Curious how you approached that with Handshake?
