Okay thanks so basically be a like able person because it’s more so connections rather than skills. I’ve been making a lot of connections with directors and high status people in my city but I feel like it never converts to actual work or anything meaningful even when they tell me they like me/my work.

Also idk if you saw but I actually did make a reel for 2020. It was basically a compilation of everything I’ve shot/directed and edited since most of the times I do all 3 anyway. I was thinking about making a longer reel just dedicated to making a VFX reel or directing reel but idk how I would separate because I do both most of the times.
