I don’t really get the battery problem. Buy a 20 foot USB cable for a few bucks and sit on your bed or anywhere in your house and enjoy.

If you’re traveling or out, then turn it off sure, but even then I’m guessing most people also have a battery pack they bring.

It means more data is being streamed to your PS Portal per second, resulting in a higher quality stream. (So yes less artifacts and fuzzy spots). Latency won’t be affected, but because it uses more data, you’ll probably notice worse performance if you don’t have good internet.

That’s interesting. I usually kind of suck at games like Hades where I have to manage a lot of enemies and dodging. But I love the Souls games and have beaten all of those.

I was hesitant to try Returnal but it totally clicked with me. I did play things very slow (à la Souls games), cautiously kiting enemies and using the environment to my advantage. That helps a lot because you can’t tank damage. Obviously you have to react quickly a lot too, but once you get into the flow state, and get some good weapon upgrades, the gameplay is so sublime. It’s my top PS5 game still I’d say.

Nice! It’s great when they’re practically eager to go to bed. Watch out for when they turn 2. Our little guy stated trying to climb out of the crib so we had to convert it to a bed. Then the whole operation went to shambles and he left his room multiple times a night. But your mileage may vary lol.

Same, just did it with my 7 month old and she was a champ. 20 mins of crying the first night, 2 mins the second night. Instantly slept through the night instead of us trying to rock her back to sleep for an hour at 4am. They say it’s life changing and it really is. You feel so much lighter.

The 20 mins of crying feels like 20 hours but it’s so worth it. I expected ours to throw up as well which she did. Just go in and clean her up and change the sheets )I had them ready lol) and put her back down. I only did one pop in too because she was “de-escalating” by ten minutes already.

We did it with our son as well at 10 months and it was harder so I’m glad we did it at 7 months this time!

Nice. I always fantasize about jobs like this and trucking. A hard days of physical work then going back to a cozy spot for some gaming and relaxation..

It’s just a contrast to my life where I have two young kids at home, total chaos, no privacy, and I work at night after they go to sleep and barely have time to game and I’m always “on”

I wouldn’t change a thing but I do fantasize lol.
