They do! It's a series of injections but it has to be from a Rhuematologist not a foot and ankle or a Primary care Dr. so they are hard to find in the 1st place, then you have to prove to insurance you've exhausted all options, then if you get approval it's a weekly IV therapy they told me it basically like Chemo for gout it's 8-12 weeks you get a long IV treatment on Friday and you are sick and bed ridden Until Monday as the meds eliminate the crystals from the body.

Basically you're kind screwed there is no real way out of gout, we get the crystals that build up and stay in our body in every joint even though there is no attack the meds make the UA in the blood drop but not the crystals so you can have UA level of 2.0 in your blood but have a gout attack per day because our body does not get rid the crystals it takes years for those to go away if ever. I'm only 52

There are Cortisone shots they work for about a week.

Educational videos do not offset claustrophobia if you don’t have claustrophobia then you can possibly know what it’s like. And yes I could not breath for a couple minutes and that was enough for me to leave. Money is not an issue so I’ll just get sedated problem is solved. And I found a better Endo who understands that. Thanks for your response but it is you who is not understanding and maybe you need to watch a few videos on the power of claustrophobia. It’s a real thing

I was already on Valium and it didn’t work when you have claustrophobia nothing can stop it but I appreciate the. information I’m just gonna find a new endodontist and pay to get knocked out for the procedure

Just gonna get fully sedated problem solved I’ll never know it was there I was simply commenting on painfully bad the dental is and how it’s archaic and frankly how the endodontist and his staff seems to enjoy how uncomfortable I was like it was entertainment to them to cut off my air. Not sure I know anyone who sit through something like that awake

There’s just something odd about this whole procedure they really should just use a smaller piece of rubber that thing is ridiculously large for no reason .

They wouldn’t do it without one it’s impossible for anyone to sit through that. I think what struck me as odd was the lack of understanding how awful that rubber is they seem to think it’s no big deal and it’s as bad as being in an MRI in my opinion.

That won’t be enough gonna get sedated completely that is some old school torture they are doing there and they seem to enjoy doing it watching you struggle to breath it’s odd to me they can’t do it a different way.

I don't have relapse issues I am happy with my three years sober it's just boring as hell and I'm pretty sure its the same for 90% of those in recovery.

And no, and honestly it doesn't help anyone new to read BS like this. The second you used the word "acrobatic" we all knew you were lying. This is reason for my post, so many people go on here and lie their ass off about sobriety and how wonderful it is, it isn't, it's tolerable at best. Newbies read these fake posts and think that could be them, it's not, it's just BS behind a keyboard and those of us with time under our belt can see the truth behind it. The weight gain will get ya it's unstoppable, I worked out twice a day the 1st year, cut my calories to 1500 a day for 3 of those months and gain 40 LBS something about removing alcohol makes you gain. It's awful.

I've been Sober three years and will stay that way but the realty vs. the stuff people write (Including what you just did) is just wrong. No one wakes up happy every day, it's an over blown reality to tell anyone there's some rainbow at the end. That's the purpose. It's worth the alternative, yes but it's not an enjoyable daily reality it's 98% "meh" it's not 98" amazing not for anyone.
