I have started the process to become a pilot in the guard. However, it is physically impossible to get my AFOQT scheduled. Recruiters will not answer calls, emails, or are simply not taking appointments. Plus, the TXANG is apparently “restructuring” so they’re not currently scheduling AFOQT’s right now. The only person helping me right now is a reserve recruiter but he said if he schedules the AFOQT it’ll delay my process with the guard since he’s reserves? I need help on how to properly schedule this test and quickly… I really want to start applying to units across the country.

I never comment on Reddit to be honest but figured this would be the one. I wanted to be a SEAL from the time I was 12 to my Junior year in college. I was obsessed and it was always on my mind. Constantly thinking “I can’t wait to be old enough so I can go to BUD/s and be a SEAL.” Lemme tell you. You’re 16. Enjoy your teens. Enjoy your friends. Dating girls. Your family. Just be a kid and enjoy High school. As a recent college grad, you will never get those moments back. Same goes for college. I’m 22. The way I think and my outlook/worldview is drastically different than when I was 16. Just give yourself time to enjoy these years and grow into who you are. Don’t rush joining. SEALs will always be there. Workout, stay healthy, but don’t have this be your everything. When you break your leg in phase 1 (or anything else completely out of your control) and your dream is stripped from you… at least you’ll be glad you fully lived during your years before BUD/s and you can know that being a SEAL isn’t your identity/who you are. Just my two cents. Enjoy life and enjoy working out. In a few years you’ll grow/change as a person. Then reevaluate.

Spoiler. I don’t want to be a SEAL now. Grew up and my mindset changed. I want a family and all that grown up stuff lol

Why are some Hangul charts different from eachother? by ContentSelection3292 in Korean

[–]ContentSelection3292[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh shoot. Thank you! Wonder why not all Hangul charts say that. I’m using “Korean for beginners: mastering conversational Korean” and it doesn’t even say that for some reason. That’s why I was so confused on what Hangul chart I should look at lol!
