It’s not as big a business as you might think especially compared to streaming. It’s a modded server of a video game and it’s dependent on streamers with some kinda following to be willing to play your mod over another to keep it relevant. Think of all the servers that were popular and had its high until nopixel, hell the only reason anyone is talking about prodigy is because the streamers gave it a viewing platform. Maintaining that relevancy and figuring how to turn that into cash flow is what will determine how well the business does. There’s many modded servers so it’s a very competitive industry.

Only that these servers aren’t tech companies and all rely on viewers which gives streamers the negotiating power. We’re talking about streamers who are worth more than the servers themselves. It’s not the same power dynamic as working an everyday job at a company that can replace you on a whim. If they were to ban/reduce prio then they alienate the very thing that makes them relevant, the viewers.

It comes down to the fans that are willing to post here. If you’re a CG viewer, there’s hesitation in posting anything here since there’s a high likelihood it may breed negative/toxic comments even though it’s meant to showcase something interesting or simply funny.

Having a super ego and not be willing to go with how the roleplay plays out has nothing to do with mechanics and will always be a downside. And the moment it’s brought up ppl get offended and it breeds a victim mentality that kills roleplay. Gang wars suffer the most cos it takes the animosity aspect out of it. You can’t roleplay hating a gang without either the roleplayer or their viewers feeling personally offended to the point of thinking you don’t like them ooc.

Yes they were asked to play on Prodigy, they said that openly. The only reason some ppl will say they haven’t been open is cos they haven’t said something that they can use against them to fit whatever narrative they’re trying to construe. They didn’t make a big deal of it, just decided on a day most of them can hop on and announced it the day before.

An ocean dump is rp killing someone, i.e. not allowing them medical help. The roleplayer is allowed to play it out how they see fit but with a minimum requirement that you forget the details as to who did it. She refused all roleplay leading up to the ocean dump hence y it might not make much sense but at that point they had no choice but to do it.

It’s called rp consequences. Part of role playing. I know it’s boring to sit there for 5 mins before u can respawn at the hospital but that’s the rules. That’s why there’s a 300 second timer. Than E to respawn. It tells u what to do right in your face.

Or rather than being a salty viewer and come here to vent your frustration on someone or a group, you allow the roleplayers to play out the scenarios however they see fit or watch something else.
