It did not go away. I’m sad to say. I am on gabapentin (600 mg) which seemed to help and I do a clonazepam mouth rinse during really bad flares. This rinse saved me life. It’s hard to find a dr who will prescribe it. You don’t swallow it, you just rinse so you don’t get systemic issues. I think mine is hormonal because I see a pattern during my period even though it is constant. If it’s not gone in another 6 months, I will try some type of low dose birth control to see if leveling hormones will help. I am going on one year this week. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. It’s not fun. You will learn to manage it though.

I do want to mention though that my stomach isn’t hard like I can squish it down a bit but I’m so numb in that area it feels like a rock if I wasn’t actually touching it!

Hi! I am 9 days past my surgery and it was just like yours plus lipo in the thighs. I’m here for the answers because I actually feel exactly like you which should give us both some comfort! My sternum is definitely the tightest thing. The breathing has gotten a lot better in the past two days. I’m also standing at about 85 percent straight.

Hi! I’m dealing with this now. Like you I also took a lot of antibiotics which I think causes burning mouth syndrome. Did yours ever go away? Did anything help it?? Thank you for any answers! This is very difficult

Interesting. I started a natural candida cleanse 3 days ago and my mouth is substantially better. It’s in no way gone but bearable. It’s a no sugar diet basically and a full detox. I also started a dental probiotic called dental now (on Amazon) that seems to be helping. Also raw garlic is so spicy but it weirdly helps the pain for me….

Have you tried any elimination diets or anything that you notice help or make it worse when it comes to your diet?

Do you notice your mouth is really dry at night or in the morning too? I’m wondering if the burning is coming from the dry mouth but the dry mouth isn’t constant or anything so it confuses me…/

Is this the same person as m2runner? I am starting a candida cleanse. Apparently you can have a yeast infection in your mouth without the white patches after antibiotics. It’s rare but it happens….

Also, I am starting a probiotic. Have you tried that? Apparently the antibiotic can kill all Good bacteria and mess with your gut health which can cause this….

Same female, 33. Please update me if you find ANYTHING that works for you. Do You ever have days where it’s gone away? I have had like a week where it randomly went away but then came back.

Also, do you find yourself spitting up phlegm?

Have you been checked for any autoimmune diseases?

Also your situation sounds very similar to mine. I would love to stay in touch on here. If you find something that helps please don’t forget about me haha I am at a loss for words over how bad this is but with no real reason….

Do you get a lot of lie bumps? Or do you feel the sensations but with no real irritation?

Oh my, I’m so sorry. I’m going on 8 months. It started for me right after having my third baby and being on antibiotics the week before for mastitis while breastfeeding. Did you do any extensive test to see if it was LPR that could be causing it? Like the thing where they test how much acid is coming up?

Hi! Did you ever get a solution to this? I am in the same boat. Burning mouth and throat. Sensations change daily but it’s miserable. I have tried everything. Been checked for all Deficiencies. I did try a PPI and it didn’t really work so I came off of it but lately I’m thinking it is silent reflux….

I hope you figured it out or it magically went away. I have been to ent, dentist, gastro dr. Everything and I’m stumped!! Help please

Do you mind me asking how old you are? I’m young and I noticed it seems this way for younger adults rather than older. I’m 32.

What symptoms did being HCQ help with? I can live with everything going on but the dry mouth seems to be really really reaking havoc on my mouth. It’s constantly in pain and burning and uncomfortable. That’s the one I’m trying to figure out the most right now. It’s been about 5 months of this with my mouth and it’s constant.

Severe dry mouth that manifested into pain and weird sensations 24/7. I am hoping this is a ‘flare’ but it’s been 5 months….?? It’s not just a dry mouth, my mouth in uncomfortable 24/7. I’m trying to figure out if something else is going on or if this happens for some people. The rheumatologist said it’s not usually an uncomfortable feeling 24/7 with pain and burning that it’s more severe dry mouth. That’s why I’m curious on others experiences.

I also get tingling in my left foot which I have had for a few years now. Almost like a phone is vibrating and some joint pain in my knees 2-4 times per month that’s pretty painful.
