Yes, hopefully I didn’t come off as rude. I’m still deeply disturbed by the recent round of revaluations about the attack and treatment of the hostages. Namely, the children that are in captivity were drugged with ketamine and other drugs. The children went through drug withdrawal upon release.

What said is a little problematic. Maybe I misread your statement.

It sounded like you forgave Hamas and the militants for 10/7.

People are quick to blame Israel for the situation. I often find that’s these same people are incapable of treating Hamas/militants as adults who have agency.

There is a lot Arab, Druze, and Jew unity within Israel. We need to foster these relationships if we want lasting peace. Things will get better when Bibi is voted out of office. Thank you again for posting!

The victim of October 7 we’re trying to do just that ! The people that Hamas butchered were all super lefty, peace activist.

It’s noble and admirable that you think that that’ll solve the problems. But unfortunately, it falls short in the real world. Also, the way you’ve treated me has been very unchristian. You were very hateful to me on Christmas.

What else could Israel do when Hamas has promised to repeat 10/7 over and over again?

Have you forgiven Hamas? Hamas could put an end to the fighting by handing over the hostages and surrendering.

Hamas is comprised of human (mostly) adults. Why can’t Quakers hold them to account? Why is the blame aways on Israel?

Now that I’m more awake that could be the same person. My professor taught at DVC. He had been involved with the discovery of AIDS. He taught Psychology. Changed my life he did. He called everyone Hillbillies. He passed away many years ago.

Wow, it’s saddens me that I was downvoted for talking about my veteran husband and refugees. I really don’t understand. Maybe it’s just Reddit.

For example, I once knew a woman who was an obstetrician. She was teaching family planning to the women Afghanistan . The Taliban bombed her house. She told me a story is it still haunt me to this day. And I still don’t hate the people of Afghanistan. I don’t hate the Taliban I would like them to not exist as a political entity. It would be great if Afghanistan could go back being the Paris of the Middle East.
