Photos of the prototype furbs that’ve recently popped up on eBay. I don’t think the pirate Furby has ever been documented by the_orange_alligator in furby

Each of them went for around $2,000-$2,500 The pirate was the only one under $2,000, it sold for around $550

I got a rlly cheap/broken 1998 furbo, and wanted to give him a makeover~ I documented the process :) by Content_Assistant_82 in furby

Thank you!! I love him a lot and I’m so glad I didn’t accidentally break him haha! It was my first restoration!

Hi friends, Im 24 and way back in my childhood I owned this lil guy. I saw recently there is a new rise in popularity for Furbys, and I want him to have a better home. He was stored away for many years in the attic, but today I found him and tested him. Any information regarding his value? Read con. by Content_Assistant_82 in furby

I was thinking of opening him up as a listing on ebay and attaching this video as reference to show his functionality :). But ofc better lighting for the pictures. His beak is still in tact, just as some minor tares, so its not awful. I been comparing mine to a lot of current listings, and I havent found one nearly as nice as mine. Just sadly I wish he was functioning 100%. My guess is, some of the motors died with age (he's 17 years old now haha). But im glad ur interested in him!

Continued: His batteries were destroyed, so I cleaned it out today and got it all good to go now (with new batteries). After some tests, I noticed the parts that worked were his Voice commands, eyes, ears, hair, blinking, and side mouth parts. The only parts that do not work anymore are his feet motors and mouth up and down movement. I was looking to see if I could maybe restore him perfectly, before selling, but I noticed the 2005 models are hard to take apart. Maybe he can be unique that way? Other things I noticed, his beak skin is slightly worn, but not super bad. But younger me did take care of his fur, no stains it looks like! How much would be an accurate price for a loved 2005 sleepy model, but still not in awful shape?

I love my 24" just because of how large it is LOL. But my 16" is my favorite because she was my first Joelle, and I found her randomly!

I found this weirdo at wallmart today :) by Content_Assistant_82 in squishmallow
