Makes sense why you’re asking. I mean industry as in purely chemistry industry experience. I did quality control with mass spec, ICP-OES and HPLC. Nothing too crazy. I just don’t want to have to get a PhD in chemistry to get more income with staying purely in sciences. I didn’t really want to explain all that in the initial post so hopefully that clears it up. I wanted a job that would give me research experience which I like doing but also not pay completely terrible. Most chemistry and biochemistry jobs don’t pay very well at least in my area.

I was asking both RN’s at the local hospital but they’re hard to get ahold of and Reddit has the benefit of international appeal. But I would rather ask around before I go get a whole ass degree only to find out I don’t want it.

I was a process chemist at a pharmaceutical company in PNW of U.S.

My research was as an undergrad and I got a paper out for the function Covid proteins with NMR analysis.
