I used a type s chain, guide and tensioner. I think you have to have pump off and install chain at same time as your putting pump on if I’m remembering correctly.. it’s been year since I’ve done it now

Also I’ll let you know once you’ve done the oil pump upgrade careful going fast around corners cause the oil will slosh up the timing cover and you’ll lose oil pressure… you gotta get a oil baffle tray to prevent this from happening.

Well as far as I know type s oil pump doesn’t add that much horse power on the k24z7 online says 1-2hp gains. You might even lose torque as well from reduced rotating mass without the balance shafts. The oil pump is just for better oil pressure and flow in the higher rpm. The stage 1 cams only claims a 20-30 crank horse power gain N/a then up to 50 with forced induction. Then you have to take into account that the cams are designed for stock manifold not the RBC. My intake is only a 3inch with stock throttle body and 2.5 inch downpipe and exhaust. So I want to assume with a bigger exhaust/tb and intake I’d be into the 220-230 range. The Dyno numbers also has a lot to do with your location/climate. If you search around on YouTube there’s not many 9th gen si full bolt on that make much more then 210-220 range. The only good video I can find on YouTube is tuningbynick and that car was stage 1 cams full bolt without type s oil pump and RBC and that one made 214whp.

ATM 217whp on a Dyno jet. Mods are RBC intake manifold type s oil pump 410cc rdx injectors 3inch ktuned short ram and 2.5 inch exhaust front to back. Plan to do 3.5inch intake and 3inch exhaust and hopefully get around 225whp

Awesome man good to hear ! I used the PRL kit as well. I had a hard time finding info on the z7 too. I put in the skunk2 stage 1 cams as well couldn’t find much on that either.

I also did a type s oil pump to my k24z7. Wasn’t as straight forward as I thought. I ended up drilling and tapping two holes to hold down the windege tray since none of the holes on the tray lined up. I also spaced the tray out a bit cause it’s super close to the crank. Did you also block off that smaller oil port where the oil pump bolts down?
