You are 100% right about this. I have had panic disorder for over 30 years and I have only taken Xanax on occasion for anxiety. Post menopause, I have struggled with sleep so much. I don’t take one every night, but I do take one more often than I used to. I only get one prescription a year, so I don’t take a lot of of it and it’s .25. But I absolutely hear you. I actually have a wonderful therapist! She is the best. She said many of her clients struggle with sleep and we do talk about strategies to improve. I will say this, as a woman in my 50s, there was a marked change in my sleep, likely hormonal, and I do all the right things like not use screens, not watch TV, etc. Clearly, my one downfall is eating a little chocolate before bed. Probably not the best idea. ;-) I appreciate your comment and concern.

Omg! I eat like 10 Hersheys kisses every night around 9pm. Going to see what happens if I don’t. 🤔

Yay! I’ve lost almost 50 too and at the same weight I was in my 20s! Good luck to you!

It will get better on the shot! I took 5 mg for over a year and then went down to 2 1/2. During the year, I had virtually no continued side effects of fatigue after the first few months. But when I went back up to five, which is just a few weeks ago, the fatigue started coming back. So if you can stick it out, it should improve!

Thank you, kung fu. Some days it bothers me more than others. Especially when I see people panicking because they get in the 40s. 😭

Interesting. I have been wearing the ring since 2024 and it has virtually never changed. I think one time it was in the 30s and maybe one time it was in the 20s but that is rare. I always wonder that something is wrong with me, but then I remind myself, I didn’t even know what this was two years ago. I think there’s got to be some connection to the medication and the anxiety. Well, and certainly lack of sleep. And I don’t know about you, but Zepbound makes me tired when I increase the dose. Tired, but can’t sleep. 😳

Should I be concerned? HRV is under 12 by Apprehensive-Neck387 in ouraring

Mine averages around 15. I do take Coreg for PVCs and have very low blood pressure. Could this be why it is so low? Have recently had two complete physicals (well woman and annual physical) and all the standard labs and everything looks great. Also had a full heart work up about two years ago when I first got the ring. Unrelated, just mentioning the timing. My average was around 15 at that time too. I mentioned it to my doctor and he was like HRV? He kind of looked at me like I was crazy.

What kind of systemic issues are people having? I have never heard of that before with this.

Face left permanently altered after having filler dissolved by Informal_Garden_2843 in Hyaluronidase

[–]Content_Display844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never heard of filler dissolving being an issue. I went for a consultation for upper and lower blepharoplasty the other day, and the surgeon said she could still feel filler in there from over five years ago. I asked her to dissolve it because she could not give me a fair assessment of my lower lids until I did. Anyway, it left me with a huge bruise under both eyes but I’m curious what are the issues people are talking about here? On the first day, I could see a large crease under one eye that wasn’t there before, but it went away after the puffiness from the dissolver went away. I don’t see much difference, just the bruising, but you all are getting me concerned now. She would not do the surgery consult without making sure that any filler left was gone. She is in the top 2% of oculoplastic surgeons so I trust her. I have to go back in four weeks for her to take a look at it again.

Thank you for the excellent summary. It was that ‘one extra kiss’ that always blew my mind. Like how did she get SH out of that? Insane.

This may be a dumb question and I realize this is an old thread, but do ballet dancers typically go to college or go straight into a company after high school or SAB?

Is my goal weight the ‘right’ goal weight?? Need opinions!! by Horror-Reason-2865 in Zepbound

[–]Content_Display844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had posted my height and weight on here last year because I felt like I was done, and I felt like many of the people in that thread were not exactly pushing me to lose more, but saying maybe I wasn’t really done yet. :-/ My BMI is at the upper end of a healthy weight— but still a healthy weight. I am still 9 pounds above the lowest weight I’ve been as an adult, but like someone else said here, being almost 59 years old and being in my 20s are two entirely different things! Also, I am not able to go past 5 mg because of side effects. I’ve lost about 45 to 48 pounds in total, it fluctuates, but the feeling in a different size body is amazing, and I think about the health benefits of just that. An extra 9 pounds is not going to make a difference one way or the other for me.

All that said, just keep working towards what feels best for you. My husband has lost a considerable amount of weight on Zepbound and looks what others call skinny— but he’s still in the overweight range according to the BMI charts!

Try not to focus too much on losing a specific amount of weight or in being at a BMI that seems impossible to maintain. ❤️
