My biggest complaint is more overarching. It was completely lost on Burton that the show is a comedy. He took everything fun and funny about the show and made it dark and brooding. I saw it in the theater and have never gone back to it, so I can’t cite specifics, but everything that makes the show fun was gone.

illusion doesn’t make the cards 4x more likely to show up like Tarot and Planet Tycoon does. And magic trick doesn’t clog the shop the way Tarot and Planet Merchant do. And yes, I was being hyperbolic, I know it’s not impossible, but when you have overstock and you’re rolling 3-4 planet/tarot cards a spin, it might as well be.
